You mentioned Voidweaver being primarily used in lower keys and dropped off after +10. Was that accounting for the new mythic key levels (10 being Mythic gear)?

Still kind of figuring out exact thresholds but its basically the point where you start chain pulling packs or they live for 60s seconds

Is it ever appropriate to swap between shadow and another spec? It feels like shadow plays so differently to discipline that swapping between both in pvp or dungeons would make mastering one of them never happen

I typically end up playing at least some healing roles throughout each season depending on the needs of my group. Typically Holy is easier to start with so if you have never healed before I would start there!

It’s not too much different and in some senses is less punishing than it was in early alpha. I have a few weak auras in the description and the addon page on icy veins has a ton of suggestions in the shadow priest guide

It is currently not working with Idol of C'Thun, Yogg-Saron, or Voidwraith. The biggest of the 3 is C'Thun. So somewhat a bait until thats fixed although you can play around it

Alchemy is kind of nice for double flasks, otherwise none of them give any sort of combat bonuses in that sense. I'm probably sticking with Tailoring and Enchanting

Well. Dark ascension buffs entropic rift so all bets are off here. This is fully based on sims modeling this and voidweaver always prefers dark ascension

Archon using void form over voidweaver makes no sense at all you would think because you are using devouring plague more often for the rift you would want void form for voidweaver

NOTHING! not a single talent node for void weaver makes Dark Ascension better than Void Eruption, or even mentions ANY of the two. I have no idea out of what a** you pulled that "the build goes that way" when it doesn't. It just simply does not, it may be that it deals more damage but you never mention that so again, you saying this is just not true.

Sorry If I didn't explain this in depth in this video. Here is my reasonings in addition to it doing more damage: - While Dark Ascension isnt specifically mentioned, neither is Void Eruption or its corresponding talents. - Entropic Rift ticking damage scales with Dark Ascension, this is likely an anti-pattern since it should only be ticks. - Voidweaver strongly wants to play with Inescapable Torment and Mindbender gameplay. Due to the cooldowns lining up this strongly pairs well with Dark Ascension much more so than Void Eruption. - Void Eruption does not actually buff our damage more than base since it replaces Shadowform. Yes we get the Mastery activation but on single target this is effectively nothing. This means Dark Ascension is actually buffing tools like Void Blast that are added with Voidweaver. Currently Dark Ascension is 4% better than Void Eruption for Voidweaver in Single Target. On a typical dungeon profile Dark Ascension is 10% ahead of Voidweaver. This is on top of the loss that Voidweaver is already behind Archon. Hope this helps.
