Well done- you guys made it look easy. Litte account & I attempted to duo one & it is doable without a full necro team- we got one down to where you guys were at about 30 secs with 2 underpowered teams & no buffs to our counters. My team was a low level 40s mega lucario, 1x lv 38 duskmane, 3x lv 40 something shadow metagrosses & 1x lv35 shadow metagross... The littles account didn't have any counters over lv 35- a lv 29 mega lucario, 2x lv 20 something shadow machamps, 2x lv 34 metagross & a single lv35 duskmane. I've since powered my duskmane up lv 45, the shadow metagross have all been powered up 3 or 4 levels each (6 to 8 power ups) & I switched the lucario to a 98 with force palm & powered it up to lv 45 for the next attempt lol.

Oooh nice work 💪💪 Had a feeling there'll be easier ways to do it as well, I love my steel team though haha mainly given the investment I put into it 🤦‍♂️ My partners been talking to me for a while about doing duo videos with lower level mons more to prove it can be done which would be more realistic... I just don't have much half powered up lol

@@Tagman50 100% I'd go in with a bunch of duskmane if I had more than one lol. Got a hundo during the necro raid day so will probably fuse that one into another duskmane, as I hardly ever use the dawnwings I have, but use the duskmane quite a bit in place of shadow metagross. Just wish Niantic had had the forethought to give us all at least one cosmog as a timed research encounter or something to evolve during raid day- ideally 2, as I met someone raiding locally who had only come back to the game after a 2 year break & they had no cosmogs to fuse at all. It would have made a good event, great IMO.

Yes exactly this! Sooo many people feel the same way too but I've no doubt it was another calculated decision on Niantics part not to include it 🤦‍♂️ They're really capitalizing on the popularity of the franchise more than the game itself knowing that's what will push the majority of players to keep playing

@@Tagman50 Agreed! I just hope for newer players sakes they allow us to get some more cosmogs before 2027/ Alola tour. Given both fusions are best in their respective type classes & meta relevant for GBL, surely, they'll make one or two available via research or whatever in the next month or two, then at least once or twice more by the end of the year before they hopefully dropped them into the raid pool in 2026 I guess. Or maybe they are planning a raid day for cosmog next year... I'd be 1000% on board with that (dreams are free I know! 😆)

It's also easier to use 'Party Power'. Doubles the charged moves and it hits soooo hard with big hitters like Dusk Mane 💪

Agreed 💪 I like trying em without the aids, been trying to get to do a vid that see's a fail on our part then seeing if party play and megas can help get us over the line but we never get that far lol

Great job. Do you think Niantic will ever release more Cosmogs? We all have like 60 Necrozma but can only fuse 2. Lol Also, you have inspired us here. We are trying a duo raid tomorrow. Wouldn't have attempted it before seeing your duo videos. Thank you. Plan is, we get a raid that just popped, if we fail we can use campfire and invites to pull in support. We will see how it goes I guess.

Mega Lucario is an excellent counter, boosts both steel and fighting counters in the raid. I purposely like to try it the harder way if I think it can be done (no weatherboost, no megas, no party play etc) and then work our way through the various methods of 'help' from there 😅 Friendship bonus damage plays a big part though, 10% damage boost for best friends is no joke lol. You've got this 💪 To answer the first question, yes :) We still need that shiny of course 😅So no doubt at a cost 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
