This is genuinely one of my favorites just for how heart wrenching it is. It almost made me tear-up. Shadow at his most vulnerable because of Maria and her passing. Plus the interaction with Sonic is actually heartwarming. Despite the videos normally being comedy focused and very improvised, this shows that these guys can tell some serious and sad stories.

This video really hit me deep on a personal level. Especially to how I feel about myself and how I constantly have this anger and sadness inside because at times I question why I live life when I don’t really feel like I have a reason to. I put myself down from time to time with a voice in my head saying “You’re such a disappointment! You’re always be alone.” or “This world would be better off without you!” At times like those it makes me glad that I have friends I can reach out to when I feel so depressed instead me just bottling up my emotions. Great video, Shadow! Very touching!
