@Tinhh That is true enough of Oblivion, but you couldn't be more wrong about Morrowind. Morrowind is easily one of the most atmospheric games ever made. The environments, the dungeons, the towns, the people, the music - everything about it oozes with atmosphere.

Yes, with a touch of horror. It was developed by the same folks who created the King's Field and Echo Night series on the PS1 and PS2. Some of the development team would later go on to create Demon's Souls for the PS3. Also, although the original Shadow Tower (for the PS1) was released in the US, its sequel on the PS2, shown here, was not. :/ I *highly* recommend "King's Field: The Ancient City" if you think this game looks appealing. An unusual game, but I loved it. LOVED it.

Wait , a Kings Field game that actually has responsive controls?!?!!?!? Oh stop you foolish heart.... As far as i remember in the first 2 Kings Field games you had to wait up to 2 seconds from the time you hit the button to the time the sword actually appears to strike the enemy. Now this one actually looks good but on what system and what regions is it available?

I already got it working. The only thing is that you need to be a pirate and get the PS2 BIOS online unless you want to risk bricking your PS2 by copying the BIOS directly from the system memory.

Ah, to think that modern day epic, the Souls games, had this obscure game as it's progenitor... In retrospect, there is an inspired brilliance present in this old gem. The atmosphere, sound effects and the methodical gameplay make this old PS2 game far more immersive than the latest entries of the Elder Scrolls series. If only this game was released to the west, I would have loved playing it.

Yes it is for the ps2 but only in japan becouse acording to sony of america the game wasn't up to their standars, you know they only release games like bully, spiderman and many others in the U.S that to me are nothing like shit.. can you believe that

No, I got the PS2 BIOS files I needed to play the PCSX2 emulator.

you dont need to tear apart a ps2 to play on an emulator. emulators are software u run on ur compuiter to play games

Well technically if you want to feel good about doing the right thing, you can purchase the Japan version to say you did the right thing and bought it. Then you can download an ISO of the Japanese version that someone patched to be entirely in English to enjoy.
