Manipulative match making using AI needs to be illegal. It is similar to match fixing in sports and it should have laws preventing or at least regulating its use.

I’m against all forms of skill- and engagement-optimized matchmaking. I just want to play on dedicated servers with a proper anti-cheat-nothing more. Ping is king, and I want to compete against MnK players only. Keep AI out of multiplayer games.

Brother, this... I've wanted to have a separate ranked mode for mnk forever, but I think If people got a glimpse of what true aim looks like at the highest levels the controller side of things would be exposed for how strong and how much of a crutch aim assist is. It's a different game entirely. I would at least like for them to remove all the visual clutter and extra nonsense that makes it so difficult for us to compete against aim assist, but I think it's there for the same reason. This year I switched to controller for ranked, and use mouse only for sniping now in pubs. I got to admit, it's not as easy as I thought, and it doesnt lock on as much as I believed. But, the truth is still the truth, aim assist is a massive crutch. I'm not mad at the controller community at all, and ive switched between mouse and controller since the 90's.... I am mad because I truly think the corporations are purposefully ramping up aim assist year by year in order to make this generation need it and to try to force them to not be able to play other games. When you really think about it, playing an fps on controller is kind of like doing surgery with a spatula while wearing mittens....

COD on controller is not an fps, its a racing game. I'm having fun still, but I will die on that hill. No offense intended to anybody. Also same goes for everything you said, and I dont think its a conspiracy at all. If cheating suddenly disappeared, and they balanced out the game for mouse, suddenly everybody who thought they were god's would be exposed for being mediocre. And guess what, thats absolutely great and its fine. Because there is no reason why people who grew up on quake should have any problem dominating lobbies on the game that is the natural descendant of our arena shooters of yesterday. Why are kids who are playing their first cods suddenly on top, when we all spent decades playing fps? Its because it is designed to overwhelm them with a false sense of accomplishment because that drives sales and engagement and molds them into franchise consumers. Not that I am not one. But, in this case, its the early signs of a dying franchise. These are their last attempts to take the money and run, so to speak. They are burning out. Titanfall 3 will save us all fear not :]

The thing is SBMM could be useful, there are kids who play games like fortnite whom I would feel at least a bit guilty utterly mowing down in a battle royale lobby who realistically shouldn't have to deal with a guy like me lasering them all every game. That being said, just because I get good at the game, I should not be thrown into a cheaters ELO because I have good mouse settings and above average gamesense and tactical comprehension. I don't want my achievements trivialized being in lobbies with cronus zen users.

One of us is a SUPER casual, below 1KD player who's SBMM has him basically in bot lobbies, Good friend, BAD at CoD and 99.999% of the time a lead anchor on our team to have to carry. I and my other friend BOTH play without aim assist, all 3 of us using controller on Xbox console. Also in Season 1 Crossplay all platforms was forced. We played against PC and Console, Controller and KB&M, got into Platinum. if there were another week we could have possibly gotten diamond. I am NOT disagreeing that aim assist as it is RN isn't stronger than it should be, because it absolutely is. However to talk like every time your losing to a controller player, your actually just losing to aim assist, is bullshit. If it were the case, and aim assist was just so insanely overpowered, what we did would not have been physically possible. Because again in Ranked it's 4v4, me and one of my friends were BOTH competing without Aim Assist, that is 50%, HALF OUR TEAM using controller on console without aim assist. Our other friend was weighing us down massively feeding enemies streaks going 4K - 39D, and our other teammate was a total gamble but pretty consistently allergic to the objective. The handicap we put ourselves at and STILL bullied our way into Platinum division is insane. So tell me, HOW when we are using the same tech as the aim assist users, but without that help from aim assist. Why are Keyboard and mouse players still acting like 99.99999% of controller users are running around with anything even approximating an aimbot? A 5 - 10% nerf would fix things, but it would also ruin most casual players instantly for a few months. And would just be easy free wins for me. The truth is Very few players use aim assist properly, and the majority who use it like a crutch aren't a threat PERIOD. You literally have the fastest and most precise input method in all of gaming. Unless you want to try and shift the goalposts, and claim the instant losing argument that controller input with or without aim assist is overpowered. I'm very proficient on controller, in comparison I'm like a toddler smashing a keyboard with KB&M, but I'll still be noticeably more dangerous than a mouse than a controller with OR without aim assist, get anyone else with more than the under 100Hrs I have using KB&M and its no question how superior it is over a controller. ITS A SKILL ISSUE, seriously get over it and get good or quit.

Ive been shadow now for 53 days. Right after finishing up dark matter and reaching prestige 10. So frustrating knowing it was a big waste of time, money, grind. Havent played since i just check every so often if im still shadow banned. This whole system is a flaw, either ban the cheaters permanently or let legit players continue to play, why put legit players in the cross fire having to play in these shadow ban lobbies with cheaters.

That’s brutal! How can you be shadowbanned for that long? It just doesn’t make sense to me. A lot of players find this issue confusing as well. I still have no idea why they deleted my account back then if I think about it. Honestly, I don’t think there’s a real anti-cheat in place. The whole system is rigged to maximize profits somehow. I have been shadow banned for 60 days now, i am on console and I was grinding nebula in zombies I took a break and played 5 ranked games then went back to my zombie grind. 2 weeks later I hop on and I get disconnected and bam shadow banned 💀 rigged game and absolutely horrible

@@xreve_ for sure, it's flawed and unfortunately a lot of legit players like myself wasted their time and money, and the fact that Activision doesn't even acknowledge it like the system doesn't exist is what frustrates me more. I wish they would just remove it, or at least add some sort of support to at least appeal it. I was shadow banned first after Thanksgiving double xp weekend for 8 days, then cleared and same day 2 games later shadow banned and still am. If my account clears all checks and is back to no ban status, why on earth would I get put back into it 2 games later? Obviously no cheats were found the first time, so it's clear the system is just straight out flawed and I feel like unfortunately they will never address the issue.

That's what people have been reporting-buying a bundle and suddenly getting unshadowbanned. Some players feel powerless in these situations, and Activision understands player spending habits. If the algorithm detects that you're more likely to make a purchase when you're struggling, it’s possible you're being placed in shadowban lobbies as a form of pressure. It may sound strange, but considering how predatory monetization has become in gaming, it’s not that far-fetched.

shadow banning should be illegal, banning without directly saying why should be illegal period, and hell banning before giving warnings should be illegal, cause lets be real, there's not a single person who reads the t.o.s. of any game/service since they're longer than the plot of most games, so how would we know what we're doing wrong.

It should be illegal but companies do it because then they would either force somebody to sign an updated TOS or more likely the company would be compelled to open a channel/communication with the user on the live service platform. It would go something like "we're shadow banning because a lot of people complained" "I didn't cheat" "People are still complaining" "Then you've stolen my money and doing this does constitute a level of false advertising because skill based play is being punished, at least put me in bot lobbies so I can enjoy myself instead of with a lobby full of idiot cheaters". See, that costs time and money and employee hours. Also the company that runs the live service game would get a bad rep for punishing people and possibly leaving a lot of questions about why they're not banning blatant cheaters.

I mean I said it in other videos as well, for me it makes no sense to put you into limited matchmaking if the system does not know if you’re cheating or not. Either ban the person or not. The ONLY reason players get shadow banned is they have been reported too many times, primarily for cheating. If you are cheating a shadow ban is mothing, and warrants a full ban. If your not, there are 3 ways to look at this: If your a casual you have many other games to play while waiting for the ban to lift use it as a CoD vacation, If your a tryhard it sucks that your put in a place with cheaters maybe also take a break. But then there's MY approach, and to be clear I am a tryhard. Putting a player like ME into a shadow ban is one of the worst things you can do if your trying to keep me in check, Shadow bans are only ever 2 weeks usually, and I will grind out that entire shadow ban. Instead of deterring me or convincing me to go easier in games, you have just given me free training. Not every cheat is aimbot, and even walls are only useful if you have the mechanics to take advantage of them. And unless I am being aimbotted through walls I'm basically playing against my same opponents just with far better awareness, positioning and reaction time. Its nothing more than a difficulty bump, and tryhards like me WILL just throw ourselves in over and over and over. Every game we play we learn and improve, the harder the competition the faster we improve to catch up. Then when we get out of the ban we dominate harder ever before, thus being MORE annoying to the casual userbase. Its just a bad idea, if they are using it as a way to control or punish over performing/ most Tryhard'y players, they will eventually make us even harder to keep in line.

Hate to admit this. I was a huge spender up until 2023. I knew cod matchmaking was off since 2019, but MW2023 was on another level of my suspicions. I bought that Gundam bundle & started instantly getting solo dubs in WZ, Almost dropping nukes in mp, Then.. suddenly, my weapons became paperweights . I knew right there, that our gunfights have indeed been rigged on top of horrible SBMM.

Thanks for sharing! No shame in spending money on games-I see it as an investment. If I enjoy a game, I'm willing to buy something, like the CR Battlepass. I finished the regular pass two days ago and decided to get the new one. So after grinding for fun, I completed the regular free pass, and the battlepass rewards weren’t bad - I got it 2h before the season ended. And the "pay2win" term isn’t random. I kept getting crushed by Pekka, Mega Knight, and the new Cook Tower, which gives +1 level to cards. After buying the pass, those issues magically stopped. Even if I do not have any advantages now since its a new pass, but the game knows I spent money. I’ve mentioned before how EOMM and microtransactions seem to purposely make me suffer in CR under various comments. The game counters me with hard matchups on purpose, even though I’ve been using the same deck for years. "Pay2win" has been a thing for a while-people need to realize that.

The only issue i have is who in their right mind would buy a bundle out of frustration ? Oh, trust me, I know that 95% of my viewers aren’t diehard COD fans who blindly defend everything. But do you realize how many people make purchases out of frustration? Take me, for example-I never make impulsive buys. It just doesn’t work on me, same with ads. If I don’t need something, I don’t want it, and I don’t even want to see it. Watching an ad doesn’t suddenly make me feel the urge to buy. But a lot of people fall for it-they get caught up in the psychology behind it. It’s their way of coping, of making themselves feel better. I wouldn’t fall for it, haha, but trust me, plenty of people do. And there are probably a lot of players who don’t even realize they’re shadowbanned, while the system tracks their spending habits and places them in specific lobbies because of it. Their systems somehow never keep the people playing. And I guess they know that, and it is their intention. All they want is people to spend money. Does not matter how long they play. If the same people come back to only buy stuff in the game and leave .. enough people do that. That is why I said, these are not games anymore, they are a subscription model for "content" aka bundles. And I do not care about that stuff at all. Only start caring about it if I unlocked most of the stuff and I enjoy the game. Cannot say that for Call of Duty Black Ops 6.

Well, unlock-all tools are a different story if you ask me. I’m not sure how they work in COD, but I’ve used skin changers in LoL and CS:GO without ever getting banned. They don’t give you an advantage over other players-they’re just for personal use. Definitely a controversial topic.

If your tos arent understandable to the average customer and also isnt immediately upfront before being able to agree, not a link but immediately before having the ability to agree, then it should not be binding or legally enforceable. This is my opinion for any productor service sold by any company, not just cod. A principle of shadow banning should be communicated in "consumer accessible language" in any TOS, but that would open up the company that puts such a provision in for a lawsuit regardless of the TOS. I could absolutely see a person who wasn't cheating filing a lawsuit to not be put into game lobbies with cheaters. Regardless of the outcome of the lawsuit it would absolutely tarnish the reputation of the live service game company for awareness being raised of such a phenomenon.

Some people still deny this, but I believe they use every tactic to get players to keep playing. Think about it: if you own multiple accounts, you can switch freely. If not, you might just create a new one after a shadowban, and as I explained, people will still buy stuff on that account. Even I bought the Western Sheriff skin on 3 Valorant accounts because I loved it so much, despite hating microtransactions and being bombarded with skins. But I enjoy playing with the sheriff, so it felt like a smart investment. I'm careful with my money. Now, think about those who don't manage their money well or use their parents' credit cards. They have a compulsive buying habit and try to "fix" problems by spending money. Plenty of people do this, even outside of gaming-buying clothes, food, etc. The goal is clear: get people to spend money in their latest title, and it’s working. I can’t blame them for wanting to maximize revenue, but I don’t think this approach will work long-term. Only time will tell.

I can assure you that this entire video was not created using AI. The only thing I did was translate my German script and refine it for fluidity and grammar-I’ll openly admit to that, as there’s nothing to hide. I have been playing for years on the same account, have never been "shadow banned. Using unlock tools on an account or letting someone else who has cheats use your account is why you get "shadow banned" and then permanently, If your account got hacked is the only other reason unless you are really cheating. I have gotten some of the most sketchy kills, end game 1v4 team wipes, you name it and have never been "shadowed". Been spam invited to 1v1 to prove my skill, got sent a ton load of psn messages cursing me out. All these players who have 60 day bans sound so sketchy, i know some where along the line they tampered with the integrity of thier accounts😂😂😂😂
