It’s probably because they’re betting on having nobody find out their role until late game when they remember. I do like the meta of hanging Amnes though; serves them right.

Honestly I felt a bit bad for solo PMer when you betrayed him like that (although it was completely understandable and what you needed to do) but all my sympathy for him went out the window when he dced in order to try to get you killed alongside him. Just kind of a dick move honestly. I know solo Coven is rough, but no need to take it out on the surv just trying to survive man.

Yeah, but PMer kind fucked themselves by investing the doc claim on N3 and not waiting a little later and then pushing them as PMer. No way could he reasonably win with an essentially confirmed doc and a jailor. Also, the amne getting hanged didn't help, which he was the last vote on. Six had it rough, but the (understandable) misplays there boxed them into a corner there was no getting out of. edit: actually it didn't matter; amne could only win if they remembered town (I just looked it up on the wiki and amne loses if they don't remember a role the whole game). Don't know why the PMer whispered them. Asking them to remember PM if they died for Coven win at the end? Why would someone risk that? It would have been better not to vote and let town waste another day, but it's not like PMer was killing enough anyway.

Couple cool things when I played last night. I got Transporter two games in a row in CAA without scrolls, and I got an amne game where I got to remember Pirate (First Time I ever played Pirate) and did the American Pirate Strat and won two duels in a row.

I agree that there are times a Jailor should exe a Surv claim. The time they shouldn't however are if 2 others are confirmed evil during the day and you can only hang 1. Not that this happened, just that it's an exception.

I'd love to find out the exact chances of roles appearing in CAA. If it's completely random or if certain roles have some priority. Because there's a Jailor in nearly every CAA game you've uploaded and there's usually a Surv or two.

I think when you name yourself a role. Then claim it. People believe you since you probably have scrolls for the role you named yourself with. Though it's a double edged sword sometimes.
