On the ghost mod...there are actually exotic armor pieces that COMPLETELY IGNORE the armorer focusing rule to an extent depending on what stat that they get an Intrinsic 10 or more in

Young Ahamkara's Spine with Discipline, Celestial Nighthawk with Intellect, etc. Took a while to figure this out before I realized why getting good stat distribution on Nighthawk felt like a slog despite using ghost mods.

While this is true, if you focus exotics at Rahool via Advanced or Precision decryption, you can get your ghost mod to ALWAYS work and never be ignored.

Exact same scenario here. I was so overwhelmed with content it excited me. Now I am trying to hunt down a fun clan. Bit difficult so might be LFG'in it for Final Shape. Have met some cool people in LFG. A lot of clans act more like cliques. No matter what I will enjoy this game 😁

Using dexterity mods and targeting mods is actually quite useful for a load out swap B4 DMG. Using these will help you hit more shots and swap your guns faster for higher dps. You of course don't want to run these b4 a dmg phase though.

yeah, if you are trying to eke out a ton of boss DPS, you are probably doing some sort of rotation, which means dex mods are important for almost everything and targeting mods are important for anything you want to ADS with (like snipers)

I just bought a new Xbox Series S after about 2 years of not having an xbox. I also bought a headset and a 2tb hard drive. I had to spend more $ to buy the expansions I didn't have for Destiny 2. So getting the final shape expansion would be a blessing.

One thing I hate is having to do the story on every character I have, I just wanna do it on 1 character. I love playing my warlock but I also wanna try my titan and hunter I just have no time to be doing the witch queen and light fall for both characters.

Then don't bother doing Witch Queen on alts past the first mission. Once you have the crafting table unlocked, the rest is unneeded.

@@thunderchief7256 The bank exists, and the patterns for your second and third class specific glaives can be grabbed from the evidence board as if they were in the exotic kiosk at the tower. Witch Queen armor exotics are not campaign locked the way the Shadowkeep armors are. OP already played the campaigns on warlock, so there's no need for them to rerun Witch Queen on the other classes.

It’s fairly quick if you just run it on normal and optimize everything. I typically just turn all the sound off, play some YT video/music, and mindlessly do the content i’ve already done. I’ll sometimes turn on the audio if it’s a cutscene/dialogue i like, but otherwise it stays off

Honestly i felt like this, but i manged to hit soft cap on my second guy in a few hours. Your gaurdian rank carrying over helps massively with this as you can immediatly mod everything you pick up, and none of the new player busy work needs to be done (except the first mission of the game obvs)

I love these. Been playing for aaaages and I still learn a bunch of stuff. On the note of recoil tho, bit of an extreme example. You are right, 90 is better than 65...but 85 is about as good as 90. (For those who dk) the 5 puts the recoil in the middle but higher number recoil direction means less sideways deviation from the number.

You should also apply this sorta rocket launcher knowledge to people who also utilize the Gunpowder Gamble aspect. But instead of standing in the way, it’s shooting at it the moment someone lets the dynamite fly. I’ve died too many times to members of my team deciding to shoot at my TNT stick the moment I want to throw it.

Here's a protip: it's perfectly fine to have a full vault. Once you've played for a while and have opinions about what guns and rolls are good, you probably delete 99% of the guns you get, actually use a couple hundred at most, and the rest can be "interesting, I'll have to try this at some point" rolls. (My Cascade Point Taraxippos is in that category, for instance, as well as a handful of Warden's Law copies because there's no way they let that gun stay as bad as it is, right? Some fusions and sniper rifles that I haven't gotten around to trying, too.)

More or less what I do, but to add to that: I usually go by the rule of "if it's still at the last expansion's max light level then I'm probably never going to pull this out" philosophy and that's my first wave of mass deleting things, which usually clears up quite a bit. Then it's a matter of looking for dupes.

15:30 Yeah that's called reload cancelling and it's done in most older fps games. In d2, you can just sprint if you're on the ground and instantly reload after the reload is done but the anim is not. For example, lmgs have the charging animation that is about 0.5 secs. That can be skipped entirely.

RE 77 - Accessing your vault through the terminal... actually can be super useful at times if you get a powerful drop of a weapon that you have a good roll for in your vault already but that is at a lower power than the new one, you can find the old one in your vault and infuse the new one from your inventory directly instead of having to actually pull the old one out of your vault first requiring two inventory spaces instead of one.

The thing about the vault being obsolete is that third party apps especially like DIM sometimes shut down or even have a limit as to how many pieces you can transfer via the vault. I was making a build and couldn’t decide what weapons to use and DIM literally told me that I was transferring too much stuff and had to wait over a day.

Adept counterbalance is 100% worth it on Adept Loaded Question for pvp. The decreased range is more than made up for by letting you potentially get up to 100 recoil direction. While it sounds counterintuitive, this will actually increase the distance that you can get 1 burst kills

CORRECTION: there are some weapons where Adept Counterbalance is 100% worth it like Messenger (Adept) and if you still have one around...Adept Duty Bound

​@ShadowDestiny no trust me it is far better. Plus it means you can go for FLUTED barrel instead for Messenger. A pulse rifle loses 0.85 meters with Adept Counterbalance for hipfire and that means for ADS, you lose 1.445 meters. Considering that High Impacts have high range at base, it really isn't that big of a deal for Pulse rifles losing out on a little bit of range. A 95 Recoil Direction weapon will feel substantially better than a 90 Recoil. Of course 100 Recoil Direction is KING for pulses, machine guns, auto rifles, scout rifles, Submachine guns, sidearms, Trace rifles. For handcannons its better for having 85 or 95 Recoil; 100 is nice tho but 85/95 is very good. The weapon types that Recoil Direction have basically zero value in is bows, glaives, shotguns, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, and grenade launchers

Easily my favorite movement tech on Titan cuz activating your jet pack after a eager edge sword swipe sends you sailing across the map. I use it to yeet my self at the enemies then do a fist of havoc from above and it is super satisfying cuz you go flying through the air. This is the kind of thing Shaxx or Ikora would not be able to counter and would be mad as hell because I just stomped them with some out of the box nonsense.

So here's the question I have with Surge Activity Modifiers: Do NPCs get a bonus to their outgoing damage? For example, if you have an Arc Surge and Arc threat activity, and are hit by a Wire Rifle, does it get benefits from both perks? Furthermore, if Linear Fusion Rifle Overcharge is in effect, are they also geting this bonus?

The problem with the handheld thingamajig is, while it is convenient to play on the go, its rather small to be gaming d2 with.. grab a headset and a 24", or 27" monitor are the better options, plus more advanatgeous if you are of the competitive kind

Here is something players need to stop doing for bows: NOT EQUIPPING RELOADER MODS. For glaives, ALWAYS EQUIP 2 Lucent Blades mods. They make them substantially better in performance overall in PvP and PvE

a few things. one thing you didn't mention about sliding, as a titan you can use a shoulder charge/hammer strike/ shield bash immediately out of a slide and it makes you evade a bit of gunfire while setting up your melee. and it confuses the f out of people. i notice you also didn't mention that fist of havoc as a roaming super does its first slam on activation so doing it behind cover can waste the first potential hit on an enemy. like a minotaur, shooting the head off of a hobgoblin prevents them from using their invincibility shield. further more suppression grenades also disable those abilities too as of march 2024 there are no more prime drops for destiny 2

A mistake that ShadowDestiny apparently does all the time, judging from this video, is to actually move sideways on the moving walkway in Dares. If you get on it at the start, you literally never have to touch any button except forward and back and time the walk over, you'll move sideways as the bridge moves. Just time the walk so the paddles don't knock you off.

6:30 subjective. Maybe hearsay. But a few years ago someone went hyper deep into testing stats and weapons. Ending in 5 almost always outclasses just being a higher recoil number. Double so on mouse. I could see certain archtypes of weapons having a little more leeway tho. Like pulses.

Yo, to add to the hype of the ROG Ally, I bought mine in brisbane on deployment on the day it was released and got atleast 15 of my guys to get one also. We have played titles such as Borderlands 3, Deep Rock Galactic and GTA 4/5 with local wifi CO-op. It's a fucing amazing device that's good for long/short term use. Especially those that like soolo game titles such as God of War at High settings

Is the auto rifle stability thing a console only tip? I'm on pc and I don't think I have ever had an issue with recoil control outside of super long range (for an AR) engagements

I got my PC from ROG, and it works great. Haven’t had a problem with it in the 4 years I’ve had it. Really great machine, works great, so my guess is the ROG Ally is also good. Basically just a portable PC/console that’s smaller than a laptop. That’s pretty cool.

For tip 66, I also like to use a "micro sprint", where I cancel the end of the reload animation with a short sprinting

my rift deals shockwave damage so hiding behind a wall defeats the purpose of it. plus it heals me even with direct fire from multiple enemies. and the added turret helps too

Depending on their build it may be entirely valid for them to do that. I personally do it a fair bit but not to heal, instead I'm using it to hoover up orbs to keep my mods/Wavesplitter powered up.

Thought I was having deja vu at #66 only to realize #39 is the same tip. lol All-in-all, great video as always. #70 is definitely one of the more important ones imo. I wound up dismantling a god roll Fractethyst after hearing another KZbinr call it Fracteshit (and so I naturally assumed it was a bad gun), as a crucible main that's a big fan of precision frame shotties I really regret that now.

Regarding the PvE Surge modifiers The elemental and weapon surges DO NOT STACK. So if it’s a Stasis surge and MG surge, Quillim’s will not get a 50% damage buff
