Here, have a few more random/obscure Destiny facts: Back around Shadowkeep's launch I downloaded to my local archives a ton of Destiny concept art from ArtStation and various artists personal blogs and websites, and one thing I noticed is that many files still had their original Metadata attached. Much of Destiny's early concept art seems to have started around 2009 and 2010, some before even the releases of Halo: 3 ODST and Reach. The oldest piece I could find was one of Dorje Bellbrook's works (viewable on ArtStation under the title 'Destiny: Space Epic'), with the creation date of March 16th 2009. The Gambler's dodge animations used by Hunters are the exact same animations Bungie made for the 'Evade' Armour in Halo: reach. With the release of The Final Shape, the Testudo and Chitin Slate Shaders no longer remove the glows from armour. (Booooo!) There is a massive abandoned city a few miles out from the Cosmodrome. It's most easily visible when you're scaling the Colony ship in The Taken King's "Cayde's Stash" Mission, looking out in the direction of where Ghost found us outside the wall. The imagery of Xivu Arath destroying Torobatl in Season of the Witch (visible at approximately 5:08 in Bungie's "Destiny 2 Cutscene Archive: Season of the Witch (Season 22)" video) is a direct homage to a nearly identical scene in the F. W. Murnau's 1926 silent film 'Faust'. The Nerigal Savant III Warlock robes in Destiny 1 were bugged, missing the dynamic lower fabric sections of the coat; making it one of only two Warlock Chest pieces not to cover any part of the legs (the other piece being D1's SRL gear). Random D1 memory I feel like sharing. I remember just barely scraping by during the House of Wolves DLC, my only legendary was a primary scout rifle. I had just finished the Prison of Elders story mission and was getting ready to open the massive chest at the end. All of the sudden, bam! Hawkmoon dropped! I was so hyped, it was midnight and I was screaming “I got Hawkmoon!!!”. This was huge as Hawkmoon was a very sought after item at the time. I remember feeling super satisfied for the longest time because of that drop.

28:24 that’s kinda crazy. I have 1000s of hours in destiny but each dlc that comes out I have a harder time jumping back in because I have 70 quests that I don’t even know how to start. Right now I have dungeons and even strikes that are blocked behind quests that I don’t know how to even begin.

This is Legetimatly not the new player Intro me and my GF got today, this game is really really confusing, and it keeps teleporting us to misions and story lines that told us cade was dead, and took us to the final shape min mission to get the prismatic ability, then took it away when it realizes we dont have the dlc, so we spent an hour in a mission for literally no reason that ruined the story right from the jump.

Destiny 2: The game ran by corporate idiots were the only objective is to rush players into the end-game as fast as possible so they can monetize them, achieving this by removing half the game in a story-driven game, and yet unironically this ''new' experience only makes more and more returning and new players never reach the end-game because they either don't know the game world they're in or they don't know who they're in the game in relation to the context of the game world. The tower should be renamed to the Graveyard, because it's where 95% of players of all kinds log out.

Cant say i agree with the “Take a break from Hunter” just down to the fact that my Hunter was my first class and i just stuck with it, I made a Titan and Warlock for the sake of farming weapons for my hunter 😂

I am a controller using pc player, and am a top pvp player (multiple seasons with max comp rank, 100+ flawlesses, 100k+ kills) and I prefer controller vibration idk what it is but I like it when I’m trading shots with people, it always feels so weird when my batteries are low and it turns off but I know most people don’t like it

Destiny sucks bc people are tired of shooting at things that are bullet sponges. No one like going into anything feeling like the fight isn’t even close. If you are fighting something all powerful better make the guns I’m using all powerful too. Secondly no one likes dying a dozen times in a mission just to revive and rinse and repeat till the boss is dead. Dying repeatedly is annoying and if this doesn’t bother you then you may have the mentality of an abused house wife. Like being abused somehow feels good or is appealingly to you. The only thing I’m doing wrong is playing this game. I didn’t need to purchase Final Shape to realize nothing was really fixed. Same game different coat of paint.

Titan main. I've experienced plenty of this. I love my Warlock.. but nothing feels better than knowing my fireteam is depending on me to keep them safe at close quarters so my Warlock friend can keep us healed. And my Hunter friend can keep us protected from enemies that like the unholy evil of long range lol. As a Titan, I have failed if the enemy threatens my team without making through me first.. and I will not allow that to happen. You will fight me, from Dreg to Vandal, Thrall to Wyvern.. I am the Wall, and you will not have them. The sidenote.. it really helps to have friends to play with, a titan who solos is a titan who's missing the point. We are juggernaut of unstoppable fury.. but that fury has no meaning without a fireteam to defend. So lead the charge my fellow punch jockeys. Use cover as needed. Close with and destroy the enemy. Be the thing the enemy fears and inspire your team to aggressively use their skills and weapons. They have nothing to fear.. for a mighty titan is watching their back. Be the cornerstone of your team, do what needs to be done and don't hesitate to slide up next to a teammate and drop that short wall. Throw those hammers. Fly to their side and unleash hell. They will never not appreciate their heavily armored protein bomb friend helping them tear the enemy apart. The number of times my fireteam has been able to counter ambush and destroy the enemy through me just forcing them out of cover and into chaos. We don't always generate alot of orbs. But when we do.. we generate them all. If i see you out there Guardian. Know that I will stand by you and together we are unstoppable. I dont PVP.. I don't find the Crucible that fun anymore. It's cool for the sweats.. but I don't feel the need to Optimize the fun out of the game. I still get the rush when my Super is ready. Knowing that in a moment. The clang of the hammer. The fury of Sol. My Gjaller is a proud accomplishment (it wasn't really all that tough to get and basically everyone has one. But it's Lore. 👌) I love being a Titan. Because I have a fireteam I love. And THAT is what being a Titan is all about. Whatever I can do for my Fireteam.. I'm gonna turn it up to 11.

regarding finishers. They need to take a page from the mordor game series. When that game notices that you haven't used a certain mechanic for a while it gives you a little text reminder of it periodically. Instead of just once. Don't get me wrong. I'm glad it doesn't create a popup that must be dismissed or something. But I could really use reminder text on many things in destiny.
