i realized 500k gets used fast but generally you dont use alot of glimmer unless you are directly doing specific things, meaning that 500k cap is usually always hit which kinda sucks

That's why they got rid of legendary shards bc it's cap was so high and they were so easy to get it was so easy to just steadily have more and never even be close to 0

For the Xenology quest, you CAN speed it up quite a bit if you specifically need a cipher. If you start up a solo private lobby match in Crucible set to zone control with the momentum modifier on, turn on vehicles and set score limit to 25, you can just run and capture all 3 zones and afk til the match is done and start over after. Saw it on a CheeseForever video and it DOES count towards completions for Xenology too. And during events like this solstice you can rack up leaves too.

For Xenology, you can do exotic missions for +4 points or do them on Legendary for +7!! Just make sure you stay until it says "Mission End." If you do a few of these a week, plus some ritual activities, it ends up being very attainable. Love your content, by the way! I've learned lots from you. Thanks!

A note on vex strike force, as demonstrated by cbgray it only operates on a knockout system IF you own lightfall. If you dont own that dlc it'll be a random drop

To note, for glimmer and chests. Going around the paleheart doing this will not only get you class exotics, but also banshee and pale heart engrams, each one giving you basically 1k glimmer per. If you have a repeat class exotic, or one you just don't want, dismantle it for another 5k glimmer. All around easy farm if you keep taking good routes and resseting. I have a small video for the class exotic farm too if you want the route.

Edit: I just realized I had a fundamental misunderstanding of how the Strange Coin Loyalty Program works. You can select it after you SPEND 47 Strange Coins. All you need is one of the 63 bounty/quest spots open to pick it. Initially, I saw that I was unable to get it-but I thought that was because I did not have 47 coins. When I saw I just had a full [bounty] inventory, I realized I could just pick it up for free. Now it makes much more sense! Whoopsie! 😅 --------- Previous Version: 5:40 I don’t know…the Strange Coin Loyalty program thing only gives you, at most, one extra coin when you earn them. Assuming the Loyalty perk gives you an extra one EVERY time you do an activity (even though it is only supposed to give you a chance), that will still require you to do-at the very least-47 ritual activities, every ten days, just to break even for the cost of the perk. And it works per character, not per account, so I just do not see any way for that to be viable.

Pale Heart is good for multi-farming things, but if you're going _specifically_ for Glimmer, it's more time efficient to use the resource nodes/ heroic public events along with glimmer booster ghost mods.

How do you do the final shape coop missions solo at 13:50? There is stuff you need to kill with shooting the front and back on a enemy basicly at the same time, also things where 1 person sees the icons after a kill and the other person wil see the icons on the ones you need to pickup/activate.

@@bonjouritsready Uhm shooting the guy in front and back aint the only mechanic, what about the items you need to activate/pick up? walk over the wrong one and you die, not only that, they also randomly reset to another combination. Also this video is about solo farming stuff, not about grouping up. So thats why i asked how to do it solo. Because so far as i know it almost not possible specially because the 2 icons and you messing up wl reset it completly to a new combination wich you cannot see. So you might spend hours just trying to activate the right combination and never succeed. Even with LFG with people that dont communicate its horrible.

Important note, its very dull but private pvp matches contribute to xenology. Load into a collision with a score cap of 25 21 times to finish xenology in about 30 minutes.

Very good clean and structured video - concerning Xur (and his strange coins) - i think players should be made aware of the fact that - you can only get 99 strange coins (Max) - at which point it becomes utterly pointless, as the coins you earn past 99 - vanish - they dont even go to your post master - or maybe its intentional, so that players just keep shopping at Xur.

Just play Iron Banner for Glimmer lol. Each completion will award around 10K Glimmer, and wins will award an Ascendant Alloy. It's probably the most straightforward Alloy farm we've ever had. And here I was wondering what I'd do once I would exhaust through my Alloys after the Coil.

For the exotic class items it’s still much more efficient to run the mission even after the double drop nerf since the chest drop rate is like 1/50 average. For me over the last 2 weeks I’ve been averaging 30 min to an hour of running chests to get 1 exotic class item had a few times where it was more than an hour before I got one dropped and yes that’s running the landing over and over opening all chests

You should note that you should buy the Xur boon only on one character because it is character based and not account based like a lot of other things. Buying the boon on any other character will make them have their own boon and potentially ruin your stacked streak.

If you've completed Dual Destiny then you can farm class items from The Pale Heart. The drop rate is a lil rare though. And you have to complete it with each class to unlock farming chests in the Pale Heart

Prisms, enhancement cores, and the upgrade modules are what i need. I somehow ALWAYS have a shit ton of the exotic resources like golf balls and the red golf balls, 14 for reds and 13 for normal golf ball. Hell i always have AT LEAST 2 exotic ciphers. The only reason i have 1 right now as i type this is because a few minutes ago i used one but then immediately picked up that quest from Xur to gain another so do i really only have 1 cipher? 😂

You can get 90 spoils so far while solo. 15 total from the 1 root of nightmares chest, 15 total from the 1 vow of the disciple chest, and 60 total from 4 chests in vault of glass. With the help of a checkpoint bot just before gorgons labyrinth, you can go all the way back to the opening encounter door chest, then the secret chest on the way to oracles, the chest in gorgons labyrinth, and the secret chest just before the final room. To my knowledge thats the most you can get solo, takes about 2 hours to get all of them. Hope this helps (you can also get 15 from the secret chest in crotas end but you need another player or a second character to bounce chalice, not really necessary since youre already getting 90 imo)

If you're up for the challenge, RoN 1st encounter can be soloed with a medium-high difficulty. If you have a 2nd character or a friend, you can bounce the CP for another 30 spoils. Add that to the Crota ones you mentioned and you'll walk away with a grand total of 120 spoils each week. 2 weeks will bring you to max. Very valuable tbh.

I think they need to add the ability to get a couple extra exotic ciphers per week. With how much you need to use them now, it makes it physically impossible for a new or returning player to get most of the exotics they don't have. Between armor upgrades and the kiosk, it would literally take until the next dlc releases to be able to get some of the exotics they're missing.
