I love the new metal skins but I hate that the floor/foundation texture is backwards. It should be colored top, plank bottom. It makes no sense that "softside" is on top imo

Unfortunately it's because the devs haven't distinguished Floors separately from Ceilings, so we have to use Ceilings AS Floors. Clearly for the devs, they see function over aesthetics, but maybe they could make it a toggle option. "Invert Floor Texture", and allow it to apply to all building tiers.

Make bags scale on the largest team UI you have joined during the wipe. 50 bags per max team UI. 50 deep zerg get 1 bag each, solo gets 50 bags.

having a cargo bay in the shipyard that connected to the train tracks for another place to unload trains would be nice. you can go around getting wagons and stuff, then get to trainyard and get killed but some dude waiting there for the crate (crate that you didn't care about and only went there for the metal and sulphur)

Shipping containers has enough space for four electric furnaces next to each other compared to three normally, so not purely cosmetic (until they inevitably fix it)

adobe skin isnt actually completely visual only, it turns the normal staircase into a completely new build with different and bigger hitbox that cant be shot through like normal stairs and can be used to block off things the normal stairs cant do in any upgrade tier.

That and the roofs & triangle roofs don't have conditional models sticking out the sides, and allow placement where other grades might block it for that reason

It is important to note about the Fairy is that from what Frax has said - It will only be available on Official servers. Unless they've Subject-to-Changed it and I miss it or it hasn't been noted by anyone - Then it is still the case and should be mentioned so that the community doesn't go up in arms when it comes time.

Something that got changed that wasent mentioned. They changed the hitboxes of walls, this breaks quite a few popular bunkers and building techniques. Really hope they fix it soon

It was actually healthy for Ark. Instead of griefing Beach Bobs because they were bored, alpha tribes would raid each other on other servers. Some official servers got weirdly peaceful: no raiding on server or else the alpha tribe foundation wipes you. (I would know - I raided T2 players then got wiped by the alpha tribe's OP dinosaurs.)

adobe isnt just visual... the stairs have railings and the roofs cannot be climbed on from the other side of the wall like normal stone... you also can't walk off the top of an adobe roof it's like an invisible wall is there preventing you from falling off your roof.

Yes, but only between ones that are specifically linked. You won't be able to take 1000 C4 from a 2 million x server to a vanilla for example.

The new building skins are not purely cosmetic as they have different hit boxes than default skins, allowing you to build ways you couldnt before and offer better peaks, thanks facepunch. I also refuse to believe that communicating the players a different change to bags was too hard, thats so ridiculous

These updates are cool but I think the community would rather have an engine update or at least a heavy update to optimize the game I have a $4000 pc I built with all the high end part one could get and I get 180 fps on the edge of the map and after a few hours of play it goes down to like 130

Same, sometimes my pc can loose sound ingame(only rust this happens) after playing a while. Plus I got a RTX 3080 and my pc still gets pretty toasty. The only issue is that changing engines, is not simple or easy task. Would pretty much be easier to make a new game entirely
