The show was awesome, but,the books are EVERYTHING! Cassandra Clare, has had some major scheduling problems as result of covid & were still waiting fir 3rd book on the #malec trilogy - also the first book of the Ash,Kit,Ty & Dru series, for those who know we've had the online book "Secrets of Blackthorn Hall " to keep us going AND if you're a #malec fan you've gotbtheirventire story inserted into every "modern" trilogy,not just the amazing books that the TV series is loosely based upon. There are the amazing short stories,starting with "The Bane Chronicles","Secrets of the Shadowmarkets"&"Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy". Along with some edits from the original books:- eg "Kissed" Alec's first kiss ever! So as there'll never be anymore answers from this TV series,read the books and really get acquainted with all your favourite characters & what happens to them. Enjoy Magnus & Alec,become fathers to two boys,while staying close with ALL the gang,ots really worth it. The thing I love most about the CC universe is how the main characters hop in & out and we're kept up to date with what they're doing. The Series was wonderful, but, invest your time in readings and you can follow along with the stories of your favourite characters.Enjoy.
