The last 30 seconds was more useful than the rest of the video. There are unlimited guides on class setup. You could set yourself apart by providing more general gameplay advice, positioning, tactics (hadn't thought of gripping into aoe to break cc). This is the stuff that people can't find

It's good to dispel as much as you can, base buffs, Combustion, Enveloping Mist from a Mistweaver, Power Infusion, mage shields, HOTS from a resto druid, priest Rapture shields just to name a few

Awesome and to the point! I haven’t found any guides talking about how vampiric embrace works. Does it spill over once your target is fully healed or does it only heal one person. I know it’s changed a lot throughout the years. Thanks!

I'd have to say for legenderies, the stacking shadow mend one is great for off heals I run this one the most as that almost full heal with just 2 stacks is huge against bursts. And the mindblast one is also very viable, it's not great but can add some pressure, have had it crit for 8k.

I've encountered the Shadow Mend one. I bet it could be surprisingly strong with the right comp (such as Shadowplay)

Nice video. But I have a question or requiring a tip. So the following situations, I play 2v2 with a MM Hunter and normally dpses jump on me like 95% of the time, what can I do as a shadow priest? I always try to apply dots but normally I tend to get bursted down, even though using dispersion and greater fade and keeping my pws up it doesn't help against a sub rogue 😕

Sub rogues are currently one shotting everyone. MM and Spriest have a really long CC chain but you might want to play with a rogue or another hybrid class or a healer if you’re able to

I might do one once the season starts. My last 3v3 video didn’t do that well but it was fun to make. I’m wondering if any classes/covenants will be getting buffed or nerfed soon. Some classes are just one shotting people right now. And yeah, Shadow Priest and Hunter are my 2 favorite classes. I was thinking about maybe playing a druid too 🤔

I think it will be good, we’ll just have to see. It can do a lot of damage but there’s a ton of bursty comps and I haven’t seen too much of it. I hope it’s good though, it’s my favorite comp to play on my Shadow Priest

Spriest is one of my favorite classes. They have a ton of utility with Leap of Faith, purge, Mind Control, and a ton of instant CC. I'd recommend it if you're creative and can abuse a lot of those mechanics!

I like goblin as spriest with 1% haste base increase and also rocket jump for extra mobility So far its working great jump off ledges melee follows and I rocket jump in mid air back on platform

Great guide man! What are your thoughts on the legendary that consumes 8 seconds of your dots to do a larger SW: Death? I'm curious to know how much more damage it does and if it's worth trying to use it to snipe low health players because as is, SW:D hits for like 2-3k and you really have to wait until they're like at 1-5% to actually use it as a finisher.

Follow up for anyone else that's curious - I ended up making Painbreaker's Psalm last night and got to play with it for all of about 5 minutes before logging but from what I'm seeing, it's a relatively small amount of extra damage. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it only really hits for about 1.5k-1.7k non crits in ilvl 175 gear. I still have to test it in PvP tonight and will report back if it ends up being better than expected.

Very rarely should you take intangibility. Body and soul mobility will let you keep yourself in good positions and make chasing targets like druids potentially possible. Without it you're the slowest class in the game. Dont suggest intang in most cases. It's truly a strong talent but you just need mobility for pillar hump

You should almost always take Intangibility. You are not a mobile class to begin with and you generally don't chase people. You will spend the majority of the game shielding and purging. If there's a target you can't reach and need to CC them, then you run Mind Bomb

currently arenas take 15 secs. ppl oneshot each other. Also every1 attacks us so, casting mind flay, mind blast, void eruption or mindgames is suppperr hard. i use all my cds to survive after dotting and using my cds and then i die.

Yeah, arenas are fast paced. I’d recommend playing a comp like RPS if you’re going to play Shadow Priest. It’s looking pretty strong
