Be very careful picking your covenant if you plan on doing other forms of content, and expect them to change a lot during the expansion. But good luck, I'll see you guys at 60!

Question: so should one take animal companion, would it be better to take 2 ferocious pets for the leech and for the damage? Or would it be better to take two cunning pets and aim to MASSIVELY slow your enemies while trying to speed buff yourself, Or do the effect not stack? Any advice I’d appreciate.

Hello, your first pet matters, the second one it summons does not buff you. So it doesn't matter what your second pet is

Ok. I’m goin orc, surv, middle of the road, with emphasis on protecting my squad when we get jumped. I was thinking sithilid. Maybe basilisk? Raptor is good, but I’m thinking slow will have a boosted effect, then couple it with the pet damage increase, but I’m not sure what pet would be best in this case. I wanna bodyguard my friend.

As far as night fay soul shift goes i tested it today and if you pop camo first then soul shift you it doesnt break camo same thing with zandalari troll ability

Thank you! I did get a new mic on my 10 Minute Shadow Priest guide and the audio should be like that from now on. Can you listen to that video and see if it sounds better than this BM one? I was aware there are points where the sound quality dips or changes

@@Scatter_WoW I did and for me it is a lot better. I never had like problems where the audio was bad, just very quiet, but the moment I used headset everything was normal. Keep it like that and I honestly cannot find any negative feedback. :)

Yes u can go Thrill of the hunt but I would recommend Crows more.

My problem is...how do I target a rogue before he disappears??? I usually play bgs so I want to get them before they get me. And a hunter's mark only helps if i can see them (which, of course, being a rogue doesn't help lol).

Im trying Flayed Shot bleed and burst build, being able to teleport on blades edge arena is huge. Or if im punished for disengaging i can teleport away. Rogues are basically the only issue when they open for 27k dmg and you die before they come out of stealth. Almost need to use Battle masters trinket and roar of sacrifice into exhilartion just to stay alive and counterattack

You want to dump all your Barbed Shot charges before using Scent of Blood, since Scent of Blood gives you 2 charges

I'd say Vers/Haste. Crit is still partially nerfed in PVP and Pet damage is SEVERELY nerfed. I tried doing a full mastery build with full mastery corruptions back in BFA and it literally did 0 damage. They nerfed pet damage a long time ago and never reverted it

@@Scatter_WoW My Mastery build in BFA I stacked Mastery/Vers an my 2 pets one shot everyone. Went from 0-2100 in one session only had problem with shadow priest

I'm leveling as BM right now, and you can choose your covenant when you hit 60 and change it later

I think MM is king right now. If your pet dies as BM it can feel really bad. I did an arena and spent 30 seconds trying to rez my pet because I kept getting interrupted or stunned as BM

I learned that if you turtle you can still ress your pet during so you can’t be interrupted!

Hey scatter I am a new hunter playing BM and MM, I recently saw your MM guide with the crazy opener combos and whatnot and it made me want to give it a whirl. As a new char in Conscript's catch up gear it was a bit underwhelming as to be expected. No azerite traits or essences or anything. With this "fresh start" which spec are you finding more enjoyable? I want to get better at MM but I feel it lacks things to do outside of Trueshot CD. (makes me think of destro and their reliance on Infernal CD.) With BM I feel like I have more to press and am less reliant on the big CDs. I switched back to BM for questing for now but I'll have to try more MM.

I did BM leveling to 60. I had a lot of fun with it and still find it easier to do stuff like World Quests with. I'll do MM for PVP, but I'm like BM so far. MM will probably feel more fun with more gear

Definitely be careful with the covenants if you plan on playing other specs or other forms of content like raiding or mythic+, there’s a lot of things to consider when picking your covenant

Necrolord Sims quite bad for bm hunter in PVE content (which is the main strength of bm hunter). If you want to top damage meters in m+, you should not chose Necrolord.

The sephuz pvp legendary is also good for BM. The 10% reduction to CC stacks with orcs hardiness giving you 30% reduction to stuns

Killer instinct is actually not that great, the damage different isn’t that large compared to consistent from double pet and bloodshed is really good when paired with lyrics ability. I’ve had killcommands hit for 6k just by the pair. And I still think kyrin would be better for hunter overall rather then necro

thats all exactly what i'm doing lol. 2 pets is best, keeps that pressure on. And kyrian is awesome, i love how so many people try LOS me not realizing i'm drilling them through the walls lol
