@@amesajr2 When I first heard about all the changes coming to different classes in Shadowlands, the first thing I thought about was mop second wind. Because from the looks of it it seems like Second Wind as it is in BFA is just a dead talent that you never take on that row, with very few M+ exceptions. So I'd love to see it reverted back to the way it was in MoP. It was like a staple of the spec in PvP imo.

@@CamXXL As it is currently, if you pick Second Wind, you're just trolling. Same thing goes with Impending Victory, since you're forfeiting your ONLY stun, or your main mobility. Arms desperately needs some form of self-sustain, and for bolt to be baseline. Our class just feels like a worse DH at this point.

We have less utility, less damage, less sustain, worse CDs, a less useful raid buff/debuff, less mobility without the new leggo, etc. pretty lame. I'll always main my warrior, have for 14 years, but it blows knowing that Blizzard's pet class is gonna stomp you out.

I just want to play sub without having to worry about nerfs, especially with how heavy handed Blizzard can be sometimes. I don't play my rogue because I want to be OP, I just like the class. BUT I also don't like playing something that feels gimped because it got hit with the nerf hammer, and then stays that way until who the hell knows when.

Amen, exactly the same. I've just been able to reroll rogue for the first time since MoP and I'm so excited to be able to play sub once again. I played sub throughout Dragon Soul even though it wasn't the best (except for spine of death wing). Really enjoy the class and I'd like it to be relevant, as long as its not gimped. They just need to tune that legendary and leave the class alone then.

Expect the nerf at this point and just have fun if they don't for a minute. Legion had rogue insanely strong at the start of launch then hit us repeatedly with nerf bats like 15 times in a row. We were still good after the nerfs but nobody likes to feel weaker even if its justified.

@Not Drunk James Iike dispel, auras (more useful), ccs you had simply more tools, damage was lower but spec was able to lead the match. Nowadays its just tryes to catch something without complex utility toolkit, but with an absurd burst.. not fun at all. I tryed to have fun new ret in pvp... but man its not possible, also the border between OP and totaly useless is way to thin for rets.. when they starts to one-shot ppl then the spec will gets reasonably nerf.... the problem is this nerf will not push the spec down just a bit... it will destroy it, like it happened in legion 7.2 and also in twice in BFA ....

keep in mind that WW is getting a lot of free damage atm from a couple of bugged abilities like xuen copying 100% of ur dmg instead of 10% edit: xuen bug is partly fixed after the most recent build - but there is still a bug where rsk and wdp only have 1% of their damage copied

Hey Supatease, you said you liked Enh shaman but survivability was low for it that threw you off. If you get the chance, try the earth shield legendary for rshaman. It does stupid healing for you. Obviously damage would be more desirable but it's still nice either way.

Hey Supa great content, I'm glad you are covering like every class pvp wise thoroughly and not just druid which you are known for :) I've got a question for you if you could analyze warlocks a bit more especially affli for arenas. Basically I've been to Snutz's and DAkkroth's stream and managed to ask of state of warlock and in conclusion got a reply that they a re garbage pvp wise, affliction rotation doesn't work in arenas and other 2 specs are basically neglected, hence why they are playing their shadow priests instead of warlocks which are as they say "way superior". There isn't anyone going any further into this and they aren't making videos in detail about it as you are, so could you explain/speculate on problems behind warlock right now?

Not only do they give DH some of the best damage in the game, they also have the easiest rotation, the best mobility, amazing sustain, tons of utility and crowd control, powerful CDs (personal and raid), AND they get mortal wounds, which used to be the reason why you'd even bring a warrior. They also have to my knowledge the only mana burn. Almost feels like warrior is being treated as a 2nd class citizen before DH. I'm sick of them being Blizzard's pet class and getting preferential treatment to everyone else. Yet you can't give warriors MoP 2nd Wind or Juggernaut back or people cry about it on the forums and it gets nerfed.

I have a question for you if you have time to answer! Love my Frost Death Knight, and can’t choose between Necrolord and Night Fae covenants. The night fae covenant blink ability= good mobility for chasing AND I love the deaths due + soulbind conduit buffs to this. But do you think abomination limb is better? I’m sick of casters running away from me, but I wasn’t sure about Cooldowns and how far the reach of abomination limb is? I was thinking of leaning towards night fae..

I got glad as sub in bfa. The string of nerfs was pretty brutal until they were finally reverted a bit. I think that by season four if you could find a balance between your burst and insane cc it worked. I hope they tune it to work that way, with just a bit more dmg than on live. Please don't gut us again blizz

The disparities between Fury and Arms shows that Blizzard doesn’t play their game. Fury has lost Thirst for Battle (which Supa highlights is the ONLY advantage it really had to Arms) and ignore pain costs double the rage it does for an arms warrior. On top of that, bloodthirst had its healing reduced by 40% and we lost our #1 damage talent (Carnage) and got trash like Seethe in return. And broken ass DH gets mortal wounds but we don’t. Not asking for the holy grail, but our kit is so much shittier than every other melee dps. We don’t have lockdown CC. We don’t have crazy mobility. We don’t have top tier sustain anymore. Literally no one ever complained about Fury in PvP. It has always been D tier. And they nerfed it even more. I guess, as a Fury main, you could say I’m FURIOUS.

Well judging by this tier list alone, it seems pretty balanced, shamans need some love. Disregard fury, go arms if you want to be competative. Fury always was a niche burst spec that was fun in bg's no doubt it will remain so. Hopefully they will address the issues with rets and sub then give us some pvp only gear and it will be a good expansion for pvpers

@@stuff4812 , sorry for the novel... I agree manaburn should be removed, I don't know any DH that enjoys it tbh. And I think they gave the mortal strike effect to lure players away from demonic build into felblade, momentum with unbound chaos, because you rarely ever felrushed 'through' a target but rather fel rush to get closer. Darkness while powerful is easily outplayed by a monk with ring and it's basically a 3 cd which gives you a chance to survive, not even a guarantee. People can also just walk away... The purge is nice, but with the 15 sec cd, it's not nearly as effective as ss or shaman/ priest purge so it's more a luck based thing. For having a 100% uptime on slow you need to give away your your stun. Rain from above "flying" is easily countered by sheeps, fears, or even dk grip, and the damage is useless unless you fully haste procced yourself first. Imo you're placing DH on a pedestal while the spec itself is mediocre if it weren't for corruptions, the literal reasons why DH is doing well is because of azerite traits giving you a truckload of haste and corruptions proccing based on haste. That being said I do agree some other specs should have more tools but you shouldn't just give everything a heal reduce, might as wel just reduce healing in arena by 25% when the match starts already.

@@wardancer400 while i dont know the metas of the seasons between season 1 of bfa and 8.3 bfa, DH was certainly crazy in season 1. and yes i place dh on a pedastel of hate because i play a warrior and those fuckers dodge and immune everything at random. They are just better fury warriors but with a more boring playstyle. essentially for me they are the most unfun class to face. i have more fun dueling druids and mages in MoP as a warrior than i do facing DH in any pvp environment. They just rip the joy out of it for me even when i win.

Skillcapped tierlist is same actually, so in casters shadowpri in melees sub rog is looks broken. If they fix them little bit, pvp will be perfect at shadowlands, and vendors coming back. Dream senario

Aaaannnd Ret healing on beta just got nerfed. The damage is next. The spec cooks in random BGs and that's where the loudest complaining comes from. If they nerf damage without improving survivability OR mobility the spec will be C tier. Your defense is bad and you can't get away. FYI Shattering Throw can be made to have a 1 min cooldown. Ret is very cool to look at, but it is a "do nothing bih" spec.

man I enjoy warrior but it looks so bad with no rage and not to mention that fury is 100% the way to go for PvE and arms is 100% the way to go for PvP... Wish arms was just good all around but sadly its horrible in m+ it looks liek right now and warlocks somehow execute harder than us in raid etc... fun. Maybe i just go rogue instead of warrior since they have 2 specs that will most likely be good or viable for pvp and sub is look great for pve anyways and assas is normally good for raids as well. After playing warrior in bfa it just made it very difficult to do anything, get comps for pvp or pve. No one really wanted us and im afraid that if arms doesnt pop off in damage no one will want us again where rogue is always wanted for m+ and pvp for the most part. Same story for RBGs, no one needs a warr dps =/

Uh....what? Arms is one of the top DPS in PvE raids. It can do just as good in M+, if you know what youre doing. Arms is also good in PvP. Its not the best, no. But it works. To be honnest ret sucks in 2v2 , but in 3v3 its pretty insane ret is able to hit anything for 100% HP.. literaly not a combo, macro whatever pure 1 number is higher then total HP of your oponent. The spec just needs allies with strong cc. Rogue, disc mage or something like that.

Its sad that Fury Warrior has a decent kit but just falls behind other classes because of not having heavy cc or mortal wound. Even its burst its nothing so big that people would bring it over any other class. Just give Fury an honor talent that its his old Wild Strikes - 20 rage, no special dmg but aplies mortal wound.

They need to buff the hell out of FURY. They gave use wildhammers dwarves, and as a life long horde player. If I'm going to switch to an alliance main. They need to buff the spec and would go great with it. Oh as a side note nurf monks out of the game, always hated that class

Not much of a tier list when 80% is in the same tier... We all know Blizzard cant balance that well so this list cant be right.
