You just need to break the cobweb into string first then combine 4 strings(?) for it to be a wool. friendly tip for the next time you do a no crafted armor challenge. you can repair armor and weapons in your 2x2 inventory crafting table. you just wont be able to keep enchantments on them. no need more an anvil.
