Every time I listen to this, and most of the other Outland music, is when I realise such a time will never come back. There's something unexplainable about playing WoW TBC back in those days. For most people during their high school days. The music, listening to it now, just makes me want to cry about a game that was so much better than it is now... and we were all young, living life to the max. I wish I could travel back in time and go back 15 years.

This is very ambient and, surprisingly, very emotional. It's so deep. It really captures the devastation of the land brought on by demonic corruption. The music itself tells the tragic story extremely well, as well as how powerful and evil Gul'dan was/is. my favorite part starts at 8:09

0:32 "Please, no." Oh, God, the Draenei slaves. You don't really notice them until you hear them being tortured in the soundtrack. Actually, this entire track is the voices of the lamenting Broken. Jesus, this game.

It is also messed up when you look at the differences between Outland Shadowmoon Valley and Draenor Shadowmoon Valley. The Outland one is truly a wasteland and just looks like an entirely different place due to what happened to the planet.
@federicaporcheddu22989 жыл бұрын
RedPillDestiny I'd like to see this place as it was before fel corrupted it.. but I can't afford buying the game/payng the monthly fee for just that atm. XD WalrusEternal This soundtrack + the zone's exploration made me have chills back then.

WalrusEternal My thoughts exactly. When I first came here a year ago, I had chills up my spine and I still get the chills when I enter this zone, even to this day. >.< The music, the atmosphere and everything about this place unnerves me. I prefer the WoD Shadowmoon valley. It was nice and beautiful and not scary, until it became corrupted and warped. lol

I level up here, back in Burning Crusade, i always thought of this place like a horrible wasteland. And then when i level up in WoD, watching the beatiful land it was, makes me feel sad.

Duna Rox Haha, true that. I only started playing over a year ago, but when I first entered this zone, I was terrified. XD Then when I level in the old Shadowmoon Valley when it was Draenor, I felt sad, yet hopeful.

I love this track. I didn't do any of the dailies till I was level 80. Then It was a lot easier and not so many players doing it. I was determined to get my purple netherwing drake though. This music give a feeling of mysteriousness and wonder. The Music in BC really suited the zones.

What a desolate place this is. But of course it would be the place where so many important quests take place. Teron Gorefiend, Illidari trophy tabard, The Cipher of Damnation which led up the The Eye attunement, Black Temple attunement. So many. But to me what most stuck was Netherwing. From that first flying mount trailer I knew I wanted to have a nether drake. When I hit 70 I got my flying mount and immediately did the first part of that quest to become neutral with them. Then when the patch hit that continued it I saved up my money got epic flight training and went to town on those dailies. Didn't even get an epic flyer during that time, I wanted my first epic flying mount to be that Onyx Netherwing Drake. And it was such an ecstatic moment for me when I finally got it. Not to mention I was equally happy when I finally beat Captain Skyshatter in that race. God that guy sucked.

Sob..........brought my friend here to quest and show him my Snow Griffon flying mount. He was lvl 64. He was tired of the game and was quitting. @Cloonie14 One year later and you finally have an answer. You can get this music by ripping them out of the .mpq files located in the WoW directory. Find a .mpq editor and start data digging. The music is there along with all the patch music though it will take some time to find all the tracks you want but they are there.

yup, i know what you mean... probabely since u can faceroll everything now with heirlooms, world PvP there totally died out, apart from the 85 lamer who camps towers to kill leveling ppl, with dungeonfinder nobody ever bothers anymore to find a group for some dungeons, they removed group questing since hardly anyone ever bothers with questing anymore, and the 85'er farming mats for alts keeps killing the void reaver, so no more adrenaline rush of fellie trying to stomp u. the world just dies out

The dungeon finder in itself was half of WoW's demise... the fact that people can continuously and effortlessly run dungeons makes the rest of the game pointless :\ it literally broke the game from what it used to be, imo. Oh well, we still have the memories to hold on to, and some damn good ones!
