the rpm difference is the clearest demonstration of back pressure I've seen. you can do shorts on different cans just showing that test.

I do love watching how the Hornady SBR ammo which is tuned for that barrel length has much slower and constant 4 o'clock ejection compared to the other ammo types.

For probably the highest flow rate company in the industry they really improved the flash performance on the FLOW series v.s. the HX-QD. It's good to see.

Did anyone else notice the Flow 556k self-tightening, it rotated by about .25"-.5" which is amazing. This suppressor is not coming off if installed right.

Without naming names. I have been with a dude that shot this suppressor. From a helicopter. And the muzzle device wasn’t correctly torqued/rockset. Long story short, one shot. And the entire suppressor/muzzle device flew off. Showing how effective that spinning torque is from exhaust gas. Tightening the suppressor “losens” the muzzle device. If it’s not installed properly.
@7gerez11 ай бұрын
We did not find the suppressor. This also happened at night.
@corbinsc3611 ай бұрын
That would happen with any left handed threaded suppressor if your muzzle device wasn’t mounted correctly…
@7gerez11 ай бұрын
@@corbinsc36well it happens quicker with a Hux. It was the first shot through the suppressor. And it spun off completely.

@@7gerez Longtime Hux/OSS owner and can confirm. One time I was in a rush and was trying to re-zero a new scope on my rifle while swapping the muzzle device to an OSS mount. Only hand tightened the mount. I didn't bring loctite or a wrench and I couldn't zero for shit. Then I realized every time the gun fires it was tightening the can to the mount while loosening the mount from the barrel at the same time. I was amazed I didn't get a baffle strike. Lessons learned.

I've been seeing a crazy surge of people calling OSS/ HuxWrx suppressors trash and a gimmick. That dude from Q firearms really went off on flow through technology. He claims that it produces so much muzzle flash that there's basically no point in using it for a real life situation. He argues blowing gas out of your face is not worth getting a bullet to your face because of the crazy muzzle flash giving away your position to enemies. Anyone confirm these sentiments?
@Shane-eg5kq7 ай бұрын
The guy at Q is just trying to sell his overpriced garbage.
@x3dominator286 ай бұрын
Many of us don’t buy these things for doomsday scenarios, we’re looking for more comfort at the range. With my suppressed rifles, I only need foam plugs in my ears, makes range trips SO much better. I shoot at a private range and EVERYONE has suppressed rifles that I shoot with. Makes the experience so much better. I prefer not to have the gas in my face. I have non flow though cans as well should the need arise…..but my 2 cents is that guy from Q has a HUGE bug up his ass about things. I get that the Honey Badger is a kick ass SBR, and I’d love to have one, but the hate he sends to the pleebs is ridiculous

Thanks for doing flash and NV testing. No one does it but everyone understands the primary purpose of a combat suppressor is to mitigate flash. Can you do the cgs helios qdti?
