This ending combined with the animation is so intense and terryfying at the same time, they manage to depict how horryfying war is in just 1 minute. I can't even explain how much I appreciate this band on every single level.

That is what I really love about them. The lyrics are so poetic and true to what is happening on the planet. This song feels like a musical embodiment of the terrors of war. If wars were fought with music instead of lethal armament, I think SOI would be the tsar bomb.

Я услышал альбом еще до того, как он вышел, послушав слив со средним качеством, но уже тогда меня зацепил этот трек. Все тащатся от момента 4 минуте, а меня пробирает до мурашек на 1:11, особенно, когда Бен говорит, что звуки войны слышат и слепые, и больные, и старые, и молодые, и ДАЖЕ ДЕМОНЫ их слышат. The blast beats part at 4:00 makes so much sense. *the year is 2341. Music history teacher : Kids, let me introduce you to the concept of blast beats. Here is the perfect track which illustrates the necessity to use it. See, blast beats are like spices : some like it damn hot, some like it balanced - this song is an excellent example of how well balanced can blast beats be in the Metal genre*

Hearing them perform this live in Berlin this January was just incredible. They performed tracks from all albums since Primordial, and that one, the coming fire and malediction were my favourites. God it was great. My first concert of this kind and started right off with bang!

I've been following this band for a while. a) Because of Halo but also because b) I love this style of metal. Having the luxury of the Clone Hero community charting all their songs and being able to play this song daily on Expert on Clone Hero is pure bliss. Thank you SOI for making this masterpiece. Easily the best song of all time followed by The Dreaded Mystic Abyss.
