What I love about this band is that they aren't afraid to use a more rock-like beat. They're the Parkway Drive of death"core" for that reason in my opinion. I also love the way the band just fits in together on the verse. There's just nothing to dislike here if you're a fan of metal. I feel like this song is the best example of just how tight they are. Oh and the mixing? Best mixing in the subgenre if you ask me.

It could be a few different things, to be honest. Ben is a very gifted and creative lyricist. My first assumption was that it referred to the Golden Age of Piracy, but that seemed almost too easy. But from the lyrics, it could definitely be the case. But i could definitely be wrong. That is just a guess.
