If you soak it in a creek...or bathtub of water it will bend better.....you can flip a bucket upside down and wrap it all at once....use kudzu vine to lace....or just use grapevine to lace wrap around (your choice)...same can be made with honeysuckle vine too

Awesome. Bought my first grapevine form today. Was very curious how they’re constructed. Thank you for the instructive tutorial. My hat’s off to you for taping and sharing the technique.

I've been making my own for years. I get the vines off of fences and woods on my property. It is so fun to make my own.your is beautiful and much courser vines than mine.

I figured you had to soak them. Thanks for sharing. I have some wild vines that are really big at the ground, (like 8-10” diameter), but the vines are way up in the top of the trees. The birds love the wild mustang grapes.

Great instruction. I didn't know it could be so easy. I have a ton of forsythia vines I am going to try to use to make this wreath. I also have a old grapevine wreath in the shape of a flower that is falling apart and missing some branches. I hate to lose it. I'm going to try to add some vines to that as well. Thanks for the video.

Can you please tell me if there’s anything I can do to help my grapevine wreath that’s become very dry and brittle ?
@sbffsbrarbrr2 жыл бұрын
I've cut and thrown away so many of these....shame on me! This year I've gotten more and more into repurposing so saved the vines when I pruned a month ago. Hope the grapevine comes back since I pruned really hard, but at the very least I will now have a nice wreath form!

Hello there. Great video, I loved it. My mom has passion fruit vines, she had to cut a bunch that had completely cover a tree and now we have a lot of dry vines and I'm wondering if they can be use to make wreaths.

Does it rot? After a while I mean can anything be put on it to prevent that if so? Or does it just not matter what you put on it because it will eventually start dying and being light to the touch without bein soft?

Garret Hollingsworth I have searched and searched and I’ve been wondering the same thing 🤔 what can you do when your grapevine wreath becomes very dry
