I’ve made At least 1000 wreaths , love the tradition of Wreathin in my garage with the wood stove going ! And yes , consistently in handful and placement in ring is KEY !

I start making wreaths tomorrow and I'm so nervous I decided to use KZbin to try to learn some tips and tricks before I start. Thanks for this video - there aren't many like it

Hey, I make wreaths. It's really nothing to get nervous about. By the end of the day you'll have the basics down, and from there it's just a lot of fun. I assume you're joking about there not being many like it.

Thanks for asking. About 300 a year. Some years more, some less, since 1992. So somewhere over 10,000 but that's 3 people. Glad to have the foot operated clamp closer. Hope you'll do another video this year.

Great tips. I have made a total of zero wreaths. I plan to use just rope to make it eco friendly. Wish me luck!
@WorkshopatTheGardens3 жыл бұрын
I hope it went well... remember it is what you do with it after the initial use that matters. metal is recyclable and the greens are compostable, so it can be an eco friendly method if one chooses to do so. thanks for watching!

Been making reefs for sometime now, um 63 n economics is always n issue, meaning no fancy wire circle with clamps.... Just used any long anything, nonworking Xmas lights, rope, old cable cord for garland n a wire hanger !!!!!

Thank you for the kind comment. Find my Instagram page and DM me in early November to order a wreath. I only make a few and I'm in Minnesota... not sure if they can be shipped. I have the metal rings for sale on my etsy page, but won't restock till next fall. thanks

@@WorkshopatTheGardens don’t give up! I see you’re closer to 1,000 subs!! I completely understand how frustrating it can get. Your channel looks professional as do your thumbnails. My best advice, if you want it, from what I’ve learned in my short time on KZbin is be consistent with your uploads. Live streaming has helped me too. Even if they suck! I always get a boost in views and subs. I’ve watched another crafter like myself go from a couple hundred subs to over 2,000 in 6-9 months. She’s always consistent and puts tons of info in descriptions. Again, good luck!! I’m sure your hard work will pay off soon!!!!

@@HCooperCraftyBug thank you! advice always welcome... I won't be giving up... so much to learn. Working on getting everything in place to be a bit more consistent. I'm building a schedule calendar for video creation. It all takes time... we'll get there! again, thank you!!

Harvesting bows is a huge industry where I moved to and I figured I'd give this a shot. You saved me from making a ton of rookey mistakes. If anyone is wondering dollar tree actually sells wreath forms, they don't have the fancy wire clips but I just used zip ties and for one wreath for myself that was totally doable.
