I love to see y’all in an actual dungeon and crawling through it. Exploring, fighting, etc. I love it. The last few episodes has been pretty much social encounters and lots of talking lol. I hope Wrath gets his curse lifted! Good luck finding those ingredients. 😂 Monty, I am using this arc as inspiration for my own Curse of Strahd game where. PlYer was just infected with lycanthropy. The flocking club this magical club has a 1D4 (1D6 makes it common I think) chance of summoning a goat to help you in battle. Goats last for one minute and continue to attack until dismissed,dispelled,slain or hostilities cease. The attuned does not have to be awake or even alive but if you retreat they can use their reaction to absorb projectiles with an opposed attack roll.

Can someone explain to me why Wrath was able to move between his Eldritch Blast shots? Isn't Eldritch Blast one single spell attack with several beams? So he shoud actually not be able to move between them. Or did I miss something that would allow that?

I think because you're making several attack rolls Monty is effectively treating the individual beams as if they were a martial character's extra attack(s) and allowing Joe to move and shoot. Chalk it up to DM's interpretation because there's nothing the spell description that says the beams HAVE to be simultaneous.

@@mkay6915 Again, I would say less a house rule and more of a case of DM interpretation. I pretty sure Eldritch Blast is the only spell where the caster makes multiple attack rolls (as opposed to AOE attacks forcing various saving throws) and whether they all happen at once or sequentially like a martial character's multi-attack isn't explicitly spelled out. If it plays out differently at your table... well as I said, interpretation. There's no one right answer.

@@lsamaknight Sry but I have to disagree here 1. Their are other spells like Eldritch Blast. Scorching Ray or Magic Missile for example. 2. The description of Eldritch Blast says "The spell creates more than one beam when you reach higher levels" It says "the Spell" and not "The Spells" and Eldritch Blast is one spell attack and has a casting time of one action, so they happen at the same time The reason why it works with multiattack is because their are several attacks but Eldritch Blast is just one spell attack so the rules make it actually clear But like you said every table can play like they want and they houseruled the crossbow expert feat a little bit as well. The reason for my original comment was that I just thought I overlooked something in the rules and was confused and not because I wanted to complain about the fact that they don't follow the rules 100%
