Brings back great memories of one of the hardest and darkest levels on the N64, with the boss that was so hard you pretty much had to save almost all of your special weapons from the entire game for him, the final level was just so they could say you flew in and blew up a “core”, this was the real end stage

I honestly give that to Gall Space Port. It took me like a year to beat that level when I was 8 or 9(I got the game in 97 when I was 7 and didn’t beat Echo Base for like a year lol). I flew through it after beating Gall. That Slave 1 boss battle used to wreck me because like the AT-ST I didn’t realize all you had to do was run back and forth while shooting it’s undercarriage.

Man what happened to our beloved Star Wars? I remember playing this level and this music comes on and it sounds star wars. The level design. The difficulty. The characters felt like a star wars story. The dialogue was very star wars. Nowadays, even Mandalorian, it's not the same. I mean don't get me wrong, Mandalorian is ok. Andor writing was great but Andor lacked the fantasy dark grimness of Star Wars. It's like nowadays we need robot rights, gender equality in SW ffs! What happened to escaping into this universe? Star Wars has been commandeered by these younglings with all their safe spaces and ideology and it's just not fun anymore. Long live the Original Theatrical release of the Trilogy. Everything else apart from some of the now 'non canon' novels has just gotten worse. I came for this soundtrack and I'm staying for it my fellow Jedi Knights. We are a dying breed, from a more civilized age. Before the dark times, before Kathleen Kennedy.

What happened to 'this Star Wars?" The expanded universe from the 90s is long gone. "This Star Wars wasn't a George Lucas creation per se, but talented people that added to the expanded universe after the original trilogy should take credit. Like Steve Perry. The other books, comics, and cards, along with the experience of watching the 'old movies' made it easier for your imagination to run wild with what could have been.
