Force Throw your Palpatine for 8 damage, then reanimate him on R6 is pretty broken. GI Green sounds like a more viable combo in set 2.

You are misreading Palpatine's Return. You can bring back any unit. It just costs 6 less (or 8).

I think there's more to ANA than just needing "when played effects" 1- Healing damage off your unit (which you mentionned) 2- removing negative attachments 3- removing attachments on an enemy unit 4- Characters with AMBUSH are great with it. 5- I think people will try it out for 4 6- And I'm not sure, but if you bounce Bossk, doesn't he trigger his effect? I definitely agree with Wooo’s take on Rey. I think she’s gonna be sneaky good. The amount of units that she can buff is insane in these colors. And with Yoda, restored arc, kanan the new 2/6 sentinel and many more, the restore is a real think. You say she’s too slow, but on what conditions? I see her as a control leader, too slow for aggro sure, but as a midrange/soft control leader buffing already strong units is really effective. Plus she can buff herself making her a 3/7 restore 3 when she comes out. I think she’s being overlooked and I’m excited to see her and some of these other unique leaders. Set 2 is gonna be soooo fun.

She is too slow for the exact same reason why Tarkin is too slow. The amount of possible target is not the problem, in SOR there is a huge amount of imperial making Tarkin's ability also very easy to use, but despite that Tarkin never managed to have any significant success in constructed. I think she is on the same power level as Tarkin but keep in mind that the overall powerlevel of constructed deck will go up in SHG, meaning she has even less chance to see play than Tarkin. 3/7 restore 3 sounds good on paper but keep in mind that she needs to attack to get her +1+1 bonus and the restore, as a 2/6 coming at 6 ressource, this is far from guaranteed, and even if she does, it's still not a particularly impressive stat line. I think she is going to be very good in limited but I don't see her play in constructed, but as usual this is just my first impression and you could be wrong.

I agree I think Rey will find a place in the meta. Her ability is versatile so I think she’ll have decks across all colors. If she survives her flip turn you got Luke on 7. Now you have 6 restore on the board. Or slap a Devotion on her for a 4/8 restore 5. She is levels above Tarkin.

Kylo Leader can use his ability to dump Vader and/or Palp into your discard to help set up Palpatine’s Return. You can also use Force Throw as another way.

zorii seems good on double yellow han, where you dont have the draw from green you might be empty handed so even if you cant play what you draw, you can put as a resource to play for your other card or the other way arround, and if you got any smuggle card is extra steam. the strength is in not resolving the discard part, also, you can resource it to get han out, and deploy it if you get your han disrrupted. being cost 6 from resources means that for han is equally good to play it from hand or resource (if resourcing herself) in short, its good for a fast and furious han that likes to play with low han and high smuggle count

@@Thorrk_THT sure, if you want to make YY han competitive you'll need it for sure. Playing green han you are getting multiple sources of card advantage, thats not the case when you leave for double Yellow. so to compensate , smuggle and any source of drawing comes relevant. even on late game, where you get to decide if you want to resource something or not, smugglers that cose only one more than originals will go to the resource pool. and the 7 body isnt chaep to take down from your oponent perspective. time will tell. keep going with the good work. won a showdown yesterday, not with your deck but really influenced by how your decks play.

On the topic of Zorii, I'm also not a big fan, but I think if she has a spot it's probably in Lando. Her stats aren't great at 5, but at 4 they can be pretty hard to deal with for the opponent. Now does that justify losing a resource? Especially when her effect will just be cycle rather than card advantage since at that point it's unlikely you can drop your hand down to 0. Probably not. But if she DOES make it into lists, I think Lando is the best starting point. Han is also a strong contender just because he can also "cheat her out" earlier than her cost might imply.

You are misreading Palpatine's return. It doesn't have to be 6 or less ( or 8 or less ). It just costs that much less to play. Basically the same as Home One's effect. Poe is the best card so far. Red has plenty of ways to replenish cards (Black One, Forced Surrender, Cassian, Mission Briefing ) and already has good hand denial and this is exactly what they want to be doing. Rey is better then people give it credit for. She has an awkward stat line and ability for what amounts to a midrange/control leader but wanting you to play weenies to buff is... odd. But, she is the best hero control leader we have seen so far which is notable.

And to add to Palpatine's return, we certainly have a way to discard a card - Force Throw. Not saying it's the most reliable and requires a lot of things going your way (having FT and either vader or palp + palp's return in hand before turn 5), but the option is there :)

Palpatine's return - Oh yeah good point ! Poe - The fact that you have to play card draw effect to compensate for the discard is precisely the reason why this card is limited. It's a strong card no doubt about it, but you really need to build around him, I don't think it's nowehere near the best card spoiled so far. Rey - She might be the best Hero control leader, the same way IG-88 was the best aggro villain leader, that argument alone doesn't make her good. I think like Jyn and tarkin she is going to be a much better limited leader than a constructed one.

@@Thorrk_THT Poe - Decks that play that style are already going to play Black One and Forced Surrender ( and they do currently ). Even just using him for Discard is symmetrical on a overstated body. Rey - Sure, but Leaders are always going to be enabled by card selection. If there are good hero based control pieces in this set Rey will be playable. I also think just in general Rey is better then IG-88 by a good bit.

@@SawseTV Poe - not really sure what deck you are referring to, to my knowledge the only deck that plays Black One and force surrender is Han red , and this deck defo doesn't want to discard a bunch of cards. I think Poe will have to be played in a dedicated deck and that's why I rated him a 7/10 obvioulsy this could be very wrong. Rey- Yes Rey is better than IG-88 that was not the point. In a unit based control shell I am pretty sure I would rather play Luke or even Chewbacca.
