The idea of combining Hero sword and Mars is amazing. Two of the weakest deck join together to become the strongest. Well the buff is also matter.

@@ryanli5803 yeah hero mars is just worse/sidegrade than standard hero before the buff. I watched that guy tried to make it work and it never does lol. Mars got buffed in the same level as hammer dragonewt buff.

Why u dont go for 2 mars amulet on the board? I personally dont play valiant in the deck cuz i wanna guarantee mars from tony,and i always go for 2 amuelts on board asap,mars is finally playable so uk,i will give her the spotlight b4 she rotates. Oh and on a side note,heh lots of nerfs happening to other classes...mars stonks abt to go up.

Valiant is for dealing burst damage or even OTK. Sometimes the opp can heal and deal with your ping damages so you have to go extra big damages to end the game. Just look at 21:52 , that combo alone can deal up to 25 damages.

Well, the 2 Regalia amulets in play are a bit tricky, against decks like Sephie is good because I know they're forced to play followers and I know I'd be able to get really good value out of it, but I'm still not sure when it's worth it and when it's not tbh. You can easily get board-locked by decks like wrath and lw words...

In theory, yes! But in reality it is not that good because Bloodcraft has Vania and the Raging Commander to easily answer it; Haven has the Pureflame lady; the deck itself has some bane followers so it's not good in a mirror match either, Shadowcraft... well, it's shadowcraft... And every dragon deck runs Drazael, so... Not very useful in my experience, feel free to try it tho.

There are unfortunately a number of issues with ironwrought defender that make it suboptimal to run: TL:DR the card is naturally answered, difficult to slot into decks and hard to fit into turns. Its inconsistent impact due to ease of clearing Its low pressure pre mars due to its 1 attack And the difficulty of playing it in the midgame due to costing 3 A lot of decks have efficient enough answers to ironwrought; Forest doesn't tend to run any answers, although a control forest would be able to answer it; Pre nerf Uranus works as a neutral answer to it, glistening angel and winged inversion also provide answers; Swordcraft has brave vanguard, Mars, and Lecia and Nano, some of which provide further upside to the deck due being chipped; Runecraft deals with it quite differently per deck, spellboost can just ignore it as 1 attack is low pressure early, and if played later to protect your board they clear it efficiently with Simeal or Meltina, mysteria mostly ignores it and clears your other stuff whilst chipping it although depending on list may struggle against turn 6/7/8 Ironwrought, chess does damage in intervals of 1 so doesn't care for its effect in particular, sephie rune's devoted researcher answers it efficiently but losing uranus will make answering it less consistent; Armed dragon does not enjoy the card as it has no efficient answers to it, but if you're playing it in the matchup its only providing time which is a valuable resource but also lets them reach more Laevateinn dragon, ramping dragon variants like discard just ignore it into dazeal, and cake adds masamune into answers for the card; Burial rite shadow has a few banes(inn ghosthound, memento) and a lot of small removal allowing them to clear through it, last words does struggle to deal with it pre turn 6, but after turn 6 its useless in the matchup, I've heard of cornelius shadow, I do not know what the deck is but it probably also has small removal via ghosts and corn itself is a full clear; Every blood deck runs vania except evolve that has which has Tevali and usually scorpion so lacks consistency in dealing with it, wrath has raging commander and fel transformation, I do not know exactly how vengeance or handless look. Cystallise haven can run spritual blow, whilst varja and diamond master efficiently clear, heal struggles with only pureflame lady and outclassed options like scripture; I don't know how portal looks this set, however cassim is strong into it, puppets are good into it, cutthroat kills it directly and man run neutral removal spells. Then, as seen in the spellboost section, often times when played on 3 or 4 your opponent can somewhat ignore it due to it only providing 1 face damage and maybe if damaged condition trigger, allowing them to deal with the other parts of your board whilst progressing their gameplan and chipping it so they can still clear later. When played after mars on 5 or 6, it can be hard to slot into a turn due to having better plays that do more for you now that set up killing your opponent sooner. If you're playing leopard or mach knight on 5 you'll generally have something else better to add into the turn and it cannot be played with heroic entry. On 6 its much more playable but then you're likely not setting up lethal for turn 7 however in some spots it is quite good on 6. From turn 7, Galdr outclasses it, although that being a commander makes it hard to slot since you already run 3 mars one fencer. If running general maximus you probably want to hit mars for your 3 so you can keep up the chance to get the amulet. Additionally, it takes a deckslot from cards with more consistent value, the other hero cards are aggressive and help you kill your opponent, whilst Lyrala's protection effect is very useful into combo decks and big single hits which is where this card also shine, Lyrala is also a 2 drop with normal offensive pressure so its early game chip is much more valuable.

I was just bored with the game and waiting for the the new expansion to release to try all the different decks, and so far it has been a fun experience for me, hopefully I won't get bored with the meta any time soon! xd
