Might be an update 8 thing, but something I tested today: If, after you scan a hard drive and you don’t get the recipe you want, you can esc out of the selection menu. Then, you can scan the same hard drive again and will get a different selection after 10 mins. This was super helpful while I was following an earlier video of your guide, because I tried like 9 times to find a specific recipe needed to follow you, and wasn’t getting it, but it meant I could keep building the factory during all that wait time, and then just slotted in the recipe to the machines once I finally got it. TLDR: You don’t need to halt progress while searching for a specific recipe from a hard drive, you can keep building then just run the same hard drive again if you don’t like the results

1.0 should mean things are more stable especially for modders. Kind of like when KSP reached EOL.

Hopefully.. Something I found last night I hope they fix soon is the way the Space Elevator lines up to the snap points.

The closed beta will start "in a couple of month", so with the beta phase, and the final polish and bug fixing before the golden image, I wouldn't be surprised if "release in 2024" means december. Plenty of time to finish a playthrough that's already tier4+.
