Shady Grove | two-finger old time banjo

Here is some Shady Grove for you, one of the most beautiful (in my opinion at least!) and the most Celtic maybe, of the old-time American tunes. I play it in two-finger style and in in G modal tuning (gDGCD). Hope you like it! :-)

Hi, sorry I must have missed your comment. These are factory strings, which are 11 gauge strings, don't know the brand though

Don't have a tab for this, but you'll get similar results with any Shady Grove version in gDGCG tuning played either clawhammer or two finger style. This tab seems nice: clawhammerbanjo.net/clawhammer-banjo-tune-of-the-week-shady-grove/ Hope this helps!

@@njhedd01 yeah I did play up there on the neck somehow, but I just messed around with it, not sure now how I did that LOL! :-) Have fun with it, it's a great tune
