Honestly I feel like story 2 was too harsh. The entire group got screwed over because of one person. Once the husband took over, if he was being civil and not acting like his wife, then there's no reason to not rent the car to them, or point them to another company. Calling it a corporate setting instead of customer service was weird to me too.

The last story: Absolutely NOT the jerk. I would have left, too. She comes off less like an adult woman and more like an overgrown middle school mean girl who peaked at age 12. She has no respect for boundaries, utter hatred for the word no and nothing resembling a sense of accountability. In the story alone, I see blame-shifting, gaslighting, projection, deflection, playing the victim, going on the offensive when she doesn't get her way and much more. She has more issues than a newsstand. If I were okay, I would cut contact completely and move on with my life. She has made her bed of nails and now she has to lie on it.
