At mid-peak period, we drove by Shady Lane RV Campground and managed to secure a site without reservation. It was the last night of our road trip ending at Death Valley, and this campground had all the amenities we needed for us to return our camper the next day.
We felt safe at this campground - nothing shady about it except the trees that provided good shade in the summer heat.

❋ No chatter. No pretense. Just feeling at home in our camper van. ❋

❋ What We're About ❋
We met each other through our travels, got married, and now share a common desire to discover and leave our footprints across all that God has created.
Traveling for experience, not comfort, we are weirdly and similarly (thank God!) wired to choose the rough way - sleeping through the four seasons in vans rather than hotels: brushing teeth, taking various extent of bath (including none at all) against backdrops of mountains and valleys; hiking till our legs scream but still sucking it up and pushing through more trails the next days; trudging and panting through the ice and heat spanning -24 °C to 46°C to date.
In the process of this self-inflicted roughness, when we treat ourselves to hotels, business class seats and lounges through our travel hacking strategies, we relish our temporary fancy statuses with a harmless, just-for-tickle sense of self-entitlement.
All of these we enjoy capturing them in videos - combining our creative interests in visual, music and writing - as a creative outlet to tell a story, to relive, and to inspire. And to be thankful for simply being alive.
