The railroad tracks are not the metro link, its a trolley that only run during the day. No noise at night. The rv. park across the road is closer to the metro link. Nice video

Oceanside? I used to go in to Oceanside to do laundry and take in a "flick". Wow, long time ago. I was stationed @ Pendleton 1968/1969. Thanks for the tour, Russ.

Completely different there in Oceanside now isn't it.. Pacific Coast Highway used to be called Hill St. and that place he parked to walk along the beach is called "The Strand". I was born in 56 and grew up in Oceanside back in the 60's and 70's Remember all the young Marines hanging around downtown Oceanside. I know every place in the video like the back of my hand, My friends and I rode our Sting Ray bikes all over Oceanside back then. Coming out of that second RV park going onto Hill st. (Pacific Coast Highway) that bowling alley used to be called "Welcome Lanes" back in the late 60's, my mom used to work there, they had a play room for the small kids that she used to sit in watching them. Long time ago......

Yep, watched all the spaghetti westerns and the old war movies at the Star theater. Not to mention I learned how to fish with a spool on the pier; I was too young to pole fish. 🤠

Paradise By the Sea is my favorite by the Ocean. 200 feet is the beach. The trains go by there too, and it feels like an earthquake. The pool, jacuzzi, Washer/Dryers are nice. Many showers and a place for pool table, outside ping pong too... Dog park, gate door in/out to walk by park to ocean in 5 minutes.

Hi, I lived in Oceanside two years, came back to AZ. I lived in San Louis Rey mobile home park. Cheap as far as you own the land . 135.00 a month HOA. I have a friend that has a home for sale in there. 10 miles to the beach. Right by the Mission. New condos built right there. Humidity killed me. Gas prices, food. Nice place to visit. Look up MHvillage for mobile home parks. Tons of mobile home parks and all prices. Nice video. Miss the beach.

It's the junkies & their needles on the beach do mess things up a tad...plus you've got all these testosterone-poisoned Marines partying & then the resident gangs...

Just left Paradise by the Sea. 200 yards from the beach cove. Pool & Jacuzzi excellent. Stayed 8 days.

I kept a roll of quarters for parking on the street. $2.00 for an hour. I think that’s right. Fish tacos by the pier. Yumm

Nice video, looks a bit pricey, but that's prime real estate. Just one quick comment last few months your dash cam bracket is loose and rattles like made during the vids...Anyways to tighten it so that the vibration and rattle is fixed??....have a great week

Paradise by the Sea is bordered on the west by the Metrolink, however, by walking under it you get great access to a park and the beach. I still prefer Paradise to Oceanside RV Park as you thought, but it is pricey. Paid $75/night for non-premium site in October 2016.
