I have a fun idea for a challenge. Could y’all please catch eight Pokemon of your choice that all have random abilities. Both of you also get to pick out the move sets after catching the Pokemon. Once you both acquire teams, read off each of your team members’ Pokedex entries. If the one being read to correctly identifies a Pokemon entry, he gets the option to force a trade without knowing the moveset of the identified Pokemon. The player who gets the identity correct is also able to pick out a custom ability for the traded Pokemon. Sabotaging some of your own team members is legal. Let’s say that the two leftover Pokemon with easy Pokédex entries are physical attackers like Machamp. You can rigg the entire moveset to be special or support moves. The Pokemon can’t be pseudo legends, legends, paradox, ultra beast, mythical or, starters to make it a bit more challenging.

A cool "Then we fight" would be building the pokemons from the top down. So start by randomizing 3 different moves 4 times pick 1 each time and thats the move set. Then radomizing 3 abilities, pick one. Then choosing the starter. An expansion on this idea could be randomizing the stats after the ability is pick but before the pokemon. And even spicer maybe randomizing the held item. Love these videos. You guys and Wolfie has rejuvenated my buring love for pokemon.❤

Then we fight idea: Choose your opponent's starter but it's random ability is already chosen! Let's say this is a shady and luke vid. The way this would work is Shady would roll his three random abilities before you open the game (I.e 1. huge power 2. Defeatist 3. Disguise) this can differ depending how you wanna do it, either randomly assign the ability to a random slot 1-3 or the first ability goes to the left second to the middle and last to right. (I.e ending up with huge power froslass, defeatist Arceus, and disguise pikachu) Once again can differ but Luke either gets to know which ability or what pokemon is in each slot or for more mystery they just choose a number 1-3. Shiny's get a custom move that's not set up or ohko (prevents no guard with sheer cold or whatever)

Idea for a choose your pokemon/pokemon fusion - Pick Pokemon 1, it keeps it's body. You then pick Pokemon 2, which gives it's moveset to pokemon 1, and keeps it's body. Pokemon 3 gives pokemon 1 it's ability, 2 it's moveset and keeps it's own body. Pokemon 4 gives 2 it's abilty, 3 it's moveset, keeps it's body, takes pokemon 5's moves and poemon 6's ability. Pokemon 5 takes it's moveset from 6, and it's ability wraps back around to come from your first pick. For pokemon 6, to mix it up, while the moveset wraps around to be from the very first mon you picked, instead of wrapping the ability, you can instead pick any ability from any mon that was not picked but was n screen, and a single illegal move from that very same poemon. I think this could make some fun decisions, as each pick after the first needs to balance being an actually decent mon with how well it's movepool and ability will fit on the mon that has already been picked and will take them. Plus, there is an incentive to deliberately skip a banger pokemon so you can steal its ability and one move for the final round.

Alphabet Draft- Pick a letter before turning around. You get the pokemon who shows up 1st in alphabetical order from the letter you chose. If the pokemon starts with that letter, give it any move and any ability. If the pokemon starts with any of the next 4 letters, give it any ability. Abilities of the remaining team members are selected from a random list of that starts at 12. Minus 1 from the list for each pokemon who wasn't drafted within the 5 letter range. When a letter is selected, it cannot be picked again.

THEN WE FIGHT IDEA: only 1 legendary battle, each randomizer has 1 legendary in it and the other 2 are non-legendary. You can only pick 1 legendary for the battle so if you were to pick a legendary in 1 of your earlier rounds you can no longer pick the legendaries that come in the later rounds. Do you risk it all with a legendary in the early rounds or do you wait and hope you get something borked in the later rounds?

Video idea: Choose all your pokemon in whatever crazy way you want as long as the other person does not know what you got, then after building them is where the fun part comes in. Choose three pokemon of the other person’s (you still don’t know what they have so it would just be choosing 1-6) to switch with the three that they choose. While yes, both of you would have info on half the team, there’s a chance that you could steal their best (or worst) mons and I think it would be quite fun to see.

Video idea: “Steal or Share”game, players build their teams over 6 to 12 rounds, each featuring a pool of three Pokémon. In each round, players secretly choose to either Steal or Share. If both choose Share, they each receive a random Pokémon from the pool. If both choose Steal, they each get a random Pokémon with a massive debuff. If one chooses Steal and the other Share, the stealer picks a Pokémon from the pool, while the sharer gets no Pokémon that round but immediately receives a solo round with a new set of three Pokémon, where they can freely choose their Pokémon. The game continues until both players have six Pokémon, with the number of rounds varying based on steal decisions.
