I think it's important as a customer to know what that want before they come in. Doing research on beard shapes and haircuts that fit their face. That way they will not be uncertain and disappointed after the trim.

Simply The Best - the mustache had patches underneath it on both ends. If he had trimmed it (the way you think it would have looked better), it wouldn't have connected to the rest of the beard. The barber did an amazing job by warning the customer about it

This barber is making me cringe. As a barber myself his cutting is sub-par and roughed this man's hair all up. Kept doing a hard edge cut when cutting the top of his hair instead of doing a texture cut or layered cut. He said a few times, he like to sweep his hair over. He had very little hair to do that afterwards. The beard he did well and will give props, but damn over I'd give this man a 5/10 and would look for a new barber.

He was definitely making the best that he could with the beard he was destined to have so fair play for that but ultimately it didn’t quite suit him as it was too fine and thin and the moustache didn’t quite connect as much as he’d have liked I imagine. The much shorter beard looked much more fuller and suited his face a lot more, the only thing I would have changed were the sharp angular corners at the jaw corners. A more natural softer line would have suited him a bit more. A big beard is great and all even if you can grow it but some hair types just don’t suit it without the right face structure or accompanying hair style. The before and after showed just how much better he looked with a shorter more defined beard and excellent haircut.
