Narancia's death flag was so obvious & nobody cares about him cause he's barely half a character. & above all, it's complete filler that can be skipped, or watched before the rest of the series virtually nonconsiquentially

Once a person told me: go outside and touch some grass. Then when I did I realised it's a reference to PvZ first game. There were also grass and the lawn. Very smart way to intend a reference into a real world!

In Magic the Gathering, there's a card named Grave Bramble, which came out in a set with a ton of Zombies, which is a plant with protection from Zombies. Not technically PVZ, but there's also a card called Genesis Hydra, which was made by George Fan, creator of PVZ.

In Slay the Spire, there is a common relic named "Happy flower" that's a potted sunflower and it gives you 1 energy every 3 turns Enter the Gungeon's Pea shooter might be a reference because it has a synergy with cactus, and the pea shooter description says "Traditionally given to Gungeoneers when they first arrive at the Gungeon. It is incredibly weak. ". Description is kinda vague given how pea shooter can be a name for any weak weapon

One thing about battle cats that could possibly be a reference is that there's a cat called maize cat that then evolves into cone cat. However the cat doesn't target zombie enemies so it could also just be a coincidence.

Aside from kingdom rush 1 , ironhide has pvz references in kr vengeance in zombie cemetery tower quotes and in iron marines invasion where we have sunflower units with reference in the description.

In The Sims 3 Store, you could buy Sunflower (which acts as a speaker) as well as Plantern (which acts as a light) and in the limited edition of The Sims 3 Supernatural, you got Peashooter and Wall-Nut that would defend against the zombies that come out during full moon nights (that eat your garden plants with an interaction labeled "graiiins") in the same expansion pack. The store also had PVZ fan gear that was just a shirt with PVZ characters on it. In The Sims Freeplay, you can buy Conehead and Buckethead outfits for your sims too

heres a reference i know of! In the game Soul knight prequel, you can fight a peashooter enemy that resembles a peashooter with a few notable differences such as it having an orange head and yellow eyes, killing it has a chance of dropping a dual gun weapon under the same name which is just 2 peashooters that shoot peas.
