@authentichindu39175 жыл бұрын
A gem for what Devashree? For suffering from a problem, and then publicizing it for public sympathy WITHOUT finding a solution? In her own words, she is merely a "survivor" of depression, STILL living with it. This is okay, but nowhere near the greatness being awarded to her in the comments section. Of course, she absolutely does not have to be shamed or stigmatized, which is the other extreme. But if we as a society glorify victimization, we will always be running around problems never to focus on solutions. If a person suffers from depression, their truth manifests their reality. - If they think it is too big, too much, too painful, too powerful - they ARE right. And they will manifest this powerless truth. - If they think it is a small problem and they are bigger than that so they can easily overcome it - they ARE right. And they will manifest this powerful truth. Our society needs to be careful and consciously support powerful warriors, who have the strength and courage to look down at their own depression, as this will empower them to treat it as a enemy NEEDS to be conquered. Only such beings will be able to truly help others who are suffering. Otherwise, people like Shaheen can only offer you temporary consolation without providing a permanent solution. (Again, I'm not shaming her for depression, just stating that she has yet to conquer it for herself. Only then can she help others.)

+WiseCool, all the acceptance in the world will not help you come out of depression. In fact, in Shaheen's own words, she is STILL dealing with it even today, and even she doesn't know why, when and how long it happens, and how to come out of it for good. This is because glorifying depression and gaining public acceptance for an internal problem will keep us in the comfort zone, so we never get the courage or strong will to take responsibility for it and conquer it. I'm not being insensitive to those suffering from depression. But sympathy only enables the problem, it does not solve it. To "get rid of depression" for good, and you definitely can do this, the first step is in recognizing it for the ugliness it is. If you are suffering from depression, you are not ugly, but the depression in you is super ugly, as it can take away your whole life. By glorifying it, you will develop a mental setup that enables you to live with it, all your life. Understanding this is the first step. Second, if you can seek help from an expert, who does not make money from your depression, you can come out of it very easily, in as little as 3 months. This automatically excludes alopathic medication and pharmaceuticals, therapists and counsellers, and their entire livelihood depends on others sickness. Instead, if you can reach out to say a naturapathy or ayurveda doctor who practices for free (actually, these should be practiced for free as it is dangerous when healing becomes a profitable "business"; you can still find seniors who practice healing sciences for free, but you have to look for them a bit.), they will give you guaranteed techniques to heal your stomach region, as this is the source of all low-frequency thoughts and emotions.

@@sonamjainin are you suffering from depression and looking for an effective solution? If so, I've outlined some (guaranteed) suggestions you can see above as a response to Greeshma. Or drop a note here and I will outline them again. These are something you can do on your own, very inexpensive, and non-addictive. If you can try them without giving up for 1-3 months, you do not have to fight depression; instead, depression will run away from you. Take care :)

#RajeevMasand's interview about Depression with #ShaheenBhatt is an excellent one. The way she has put across the details of it is so so heartbreaking as well as relatable, I request you all to see this. Having an #autoimmune disease and societal stigma have made me realise that gradually what I was becoming was due to a disease. A disease which is so weird that You don't even understand what you feel in those bad days .I have been with #Tryptomar for years, it didn't help after a point. The anxiety came later on. Now living with them is so difficult at times that I prefer to ignore What I feel actually. So clearly she said that #Depression is not sadness.This word is so casually used these days. But what you feel when you are actually depressed is so hard to put in words. More power to you girl.Great interview .

Hey please don't relly on medicines for that long because even I took the same medicine for 6 months straight with some Lorex named medicine I don't remember exactly... then one of my friend find out that if we will take this medicine for more than 3 months we will get addicted to them after leaving those medicines I used to have very bad side-effects of them I couldn't be able to sleep for 3-4 days straight..I used to sleep after every 3-4 days that too for less than 8 hrs ... then I had a proper treatment of 3-4 months and then I'll be able to sleep . Now also if I have some stress I couldn't sleep ... The thing which helped me in my case is doing yoga and meditation practices... I won't say that I'm recovered completely because I don't do everyday and I'm trying to do everyday tho ! But I joined Art of Living where I learned Sudarshan kriya ... no I'm not here to support any organisation or asking you to follow any guru or something because there also I feel they are just running business honestly. But it really helped . And when it comes to anxiety I used to have horrible anxiety attacks in the month of whole Dec and Jan ... and those were quite horrible ones that I couldn't just breath ... and randomly I started taking tumeric milk randomly just to prevent my self from seasonal cold and realised I'm not getting anxious then I googled the benefits and it was even mentioned that it is good for anxiety! I hope it helps :) because I actually know how it feels !

Stuti, but why do you have to "survive" this ugliness at all? I am not insensitive to your condition, and I understand and feel your pain. But this kind of sympathy and backhanded glorification of depression is not going to provide a permanent solution. Maximum it can do is provide temporary consolation, while YOU are left to deal with depression all your life! The day you wish to move from being a mere survivor, to a person who powerfully conquers depression and banishes it forever, please ping me. I can suggest simple techniques that are guaranteed to throw out depression out of your life in less than 3-6 months. They are all natural, non-expensive and non-addictive, so you can do this on your own without paying somebody else. Start by believing that depression is a silly bug UGLY thing, and you will soon come out of it. Instead, if you think it is too much or too big, you will only be overwhelmed by it and live with it all your life.

I have had it. And ironically all other people and my friends around my social circle confide in me but I never feel the same with anyone. I don't feel comfortable in sharing my depressed part. I have at time been together with myself, and have taken my name and have consoled myself like literally there is another person. Like I have disintegrate myself into two people in trouble and ine of them consoles the other on the soecific situation by taking my name. I have cried on my own shoulders, have consoled myself. There is more to this. Like even if I am at the lowest point with all sad thoughts around me but if someone comes up to have a cinversation, I get excited and talk with all charisma naturally ( I do not force it but it all is very organic) and the moment the conversation ends, and when I am alon thise thoughts take no seconds to let their presence known. I am an extremely extrovert person, extremely adventurous, passionate but there is this one thing out of million things in me that I deal myself hidden and closed in dark. Lucky are those who openly tell to all the people about their issue who comes the way. Many people judge adn many do not but the best thing is that in all of them there would atleast be one who would understand it and a simple talk could let you rise again. I am not that lucky. Eventually the outcome of my depression is not the sadness and self guilt but each episode ends at me being angry over myself to let feel so down. So like I told you the two part of me, one consoling and other being consoled - the one being consoled get angry and gets confidence and then the consoling one also changes his tone to ready me up as a warrior to fight again. and then these two again become one to get to war. But it is painful. I am sorry Stuti, that you have to go through this.

@@authentichindu3917 Depression is not just a silly, ugly thing. It’s a serious disease, which, in worst cases ends lives. When you see an interview of a patient with a serious disease, e.g. cancer, would you ever say that cancer is being given ‘backhanded glorification’? I hope not, because it’s extremely insensitive to say something like that. Plus, depression does not affect emotions only, it also affects your cognitive function and thinking. So no, you can’t ‘think’ of it as something small. And for God’s sake, I request you to not suggest any kind of ‘techniques’ to cure depression whatsoever. Unless you are a psychiatrist. Please do not mislead anyone, since you obviously have no idea about the person’s diagnosis, current condition, treatment, and also about the disease itself.

I don't think she has depression in the movie. Childhood trauma, yes. Depression? I don't think so
@shreyaadhikary97764 жыл бұрын
I guess , this movie wanted to highlight the importance of therapy alone . Hence had to put all the colours inside one box . Because people (at least in our country ) yet aren’t sensible enough to understand that dealing depression, has many procedures to go through of which COUNSELLING is the major one (and it is a truth too ) . So yes , the intention to make people realise about it’s importance has had to be through such shallow approach . But if it makes any difference ...then it’s worth the work .

She is right. There is nothing great or romantic about depression. I used to be very creative and class topper. BPD and depression took away everything. You can't even focus on generic things... Shame and inferiority complex play a huge role in bpd and depression.

@UnSq the most ridiculous comment I've ever seen... Her breakup happened in before 2010... She was diagnosed with clinical depression in 2013... Her most glorious year career wise... She didn't need all that attention coz she had her work speak for her. Basically her breakup wasn't even the cause of depression.. I think half knowledge is more dangerous than ignorance... So plz have complete knowledge and then comment.

@UnSq Hello. Just go through all the interviews of rk. He himself said that they were in a relationship for one and a half year. Her skin is dark and she has always kept it that way. Talking about the Filmfare interview, she said she thought that ranveer was flirting with her when he was dating another girl and in the same season when ranveer gave an interview he said that she misunderstood of him being flirty with her.And for your kind information, ranveer had a crush on dp even before he came into this industry and anushka is an amazing lady with self respect. She would never attend his reception if he had cheated on her. On the other hand why didn't rk attend her reception??? Rk has himself admitted that he cheated on her. Go through his interview with a magazine. He has himself admitted that. And deepika never uttered the name of katrina. She never said that rk cheated on her with kat. She never took any girl's name. But what she did with rk was totally right. Come into a relationship, stay vocal about it, lose interest in that person, cheat, leave her. Fair enough, right??? Karma is a bitch or else a seven year long relationship would never break that easily. Dp knows how it feels when your partner cheats on you. She would never ever want ranveer(or any other person) to go through the same what she had went through. She never took her relationship or ranveer for granted. Never.
@dr.sunitashinde5055 жыл бұрын
@UnSq Get your facts right. Go through rk's video. He said 'Yes it was a beautiful relationship which lasted for one and half year'. Deepika was cheated upon by ranbir. And he has accepted it. I am totally into bollywood. Go through reddif and quora. You will get your answers. And you think rk is a kind of person who will say 'Main chup baithunga aur zhulm sahunga'?? Lol. He would have come in front of the media if he hadn't cheated on her. Undoubtedly he is one of the best human beings ever but not in the case of deepika. Maybe this was good for her. She came out as a much stronger person. Kat is such a darling.But as l said karma is a bitch, man. Even deepika ranveer were in a relationship for six years. Do you want to say that they didn't go through any negativity and pressure?? Even they tried to hide their relationship for a long time like dp and ranveer. And when everyone else was expecting marriage, they broke up. And trust me that was the only couple l shipped after dp and ranveer.But rk did cheat on dp. That's for sure. And look at deepika in om shanti om. Look at her now. She hasn't gone through any kind of surgeries or lightening treatments. Her complexion is the same. You don't want to believe me, just don't. Please. We ll talk after some years and we will see what has karma kept in their life. And l trust deepika. She was in a relationship with nihaar, siddharth. She accepted it. She broke but she never cheated. And to date someone is not a problem. At least l don't think so.Last but not the least, she didn't get om shanti om just like that. She started working way too before that. She appeared in aap ka suroor song with himeesh reshamiya. Her first movie was a Kannada movie Aishwarya which was released in 2006.And well she was a struggling model before that. God doesn't just throw things like that. She has genuinely worked hard to be on the top notch. As l said let's keep calm and see what happens. I trust deepveer. They will go through everything together and come out as the best couple. I promise. 🙏
@dr.sunitashinde5055 жыл бұрын
@UnSq You don't believe me fine. Go to a channel named 'talking cinema' on KZbin or just type ranbir kapoor taran adarsh and there will be a video of ranbir in white T-shirt. The video was published on 11November, 2011.He himself has said that. Do you want to say that he's lying. Come on, man. He is an amazing actor, but deepika will never lie. Why would she say that rk cheated on her and that too on national television??? She's not mad dude. She(actually they) were completely ok to keep their relationship public and she has full freedom to tell the reason for their break up. A man uses you, throws you away and you keep watching??? Lol. It's 21st century dude. And people only see the negative side of the situation. No one sees the way she has appreciated his work after that. With all your(l am ashamed of saying that but assholes like you need that) gutter language, the way you've put her down mind you. She is a dignified woman. Go through the tlll foundation videos. She is always involved. Always. Just last year they had put her video. And dude, from 2014 and it's 2019,is she free to attend all the seminars and stigmatize the topic? She's way to ahead dude. Way too ahead than your third class language. Well, why am l even talking with you? I just forgot that you cheap minded person are even ashamed to put on your own name and picture. You are a bloody troll. And l am seriously unable to understand why are we even talking. Just ignore my message and move ahead dear. Work hard. But alas!!! We could never ever reach the position where deepika is today. We are busy trolling her... Continue dude. Keep barking. Keep barking. Keep barking. LOSER. 🤐🤐

The fact that you can continue doing your daily activities and work might mean that you might not have depression. Depression makes even doing basic things such as taking a shower or eating so so difficult so please don't go around saying things like "I keep myself occupied", " I move on everyday " etc. You are undermining the pain of the people going through depression. Please don't do that. Living is unbearable as it is

Hats off to her for coming out in open and speaking about depression so elaborately and explaining in simplified and articulate manner about her feelings. Guys.. Speaking this from my personal experience. Whenever you watch/ read anything related to depression , it tends to draw you towards it and I mean very strongly. You start relating, empathizing and that's also how many people fall a temporary victim to this disease . If you want to save yourself from the layman ' depression' that we all suffer from, just stop being too emotional and empathetic about it. Treat it like a fu*king monster you gonna punch hard everytime it attacks you. These low feelings can't ever reduce your productivity. Fu*k everything that can stop you from being happy and healthy. 😎
