I just found Simi's interviews and have been binge watching them as many of the stars were of my time growing up in India and it has been fascinating to hear their stories and Simi does look into their souls with her probing questions but with taste and sensitivity. I read about Parveen Babi and was shocked about the way she died. Then I find the interview With Mahesh Bhatt and was taken aback by his Views of the reality of human lives and beliefs and speaking so directly without sugarcoating anything which may seem harsh and intense but he is being true to himself and not afraid to share what may be an unpopular concept but shatters illusions of our delusions when it comes to the truth about marriage and religion and our mortality the so called gurus who cannot provide anything but words to the millions seeking answers while making themselves rich. The ulimate blunt truth hurts! So we seek comfort in our delusions!

When he says ppl kill each other becoz of money, he is right. But in the breadth he sud also mention that ppl die to save a loved ones. There is no denying the fact that money is biggest contaminator but the other side of life says relations cleanses u. It purifies u. Choice lie with every individual. Whether to choose relations over money or otherwise.

I like the fact that he is an unchangeable maverick, renegade and a misanthrope! His views on god and faith are what can make even God ashamed! Bhatt saab is indeed a Brilliant person, an outstanding personality!

This man has had a troubled childhood and grew up to be an alcoholic man who couldn't stick to a woman or an ideology or guru/mentor. No wonder he sees only darkness within. And he projects that darkness on others. I don't understand why people keep giving him so much respect and validation. He's like any other gyaan-baatu person who thinks he's always the smartest in the room and constantly undermines traditions, society, family, values and everyone around him. He's a damaged person who needs help and instead stupid people around him put him on a pedestal and fed into his madness.
