I have always enjoyed your shows however you seem to cater more to the rich and famous and not the poor!......you seem to always have families of wealthy people who are in bollywood or billionaires,..... but you really could have been a 2nd Oprah Winfrey if you would have included all people like Oprah did rather than just the wealthy.....not only does it make you look like a snob,....but you really could have helped a lot of people from all walks of life who really needed your help. The comparison with Oprah is illogical. For one, Oprah was paid $1 million as her fee per show. Even her 2nd assistant was paid more than the entire budget of our show! And why should Simi-ji wish to be a 2nd Oprah? She has her own charm and intelligence. Desirables was about the most eligible singles at the time & the guests were chosen accordingly. Our Rendezvous show is about successful achievers. It peers into their hearts and shows us that ultimately, beneath all the layers of makeup, we are all human. It shows their vulnerability, how they dealt with failures.. and love. .and survived. It is aspirational. In today's India people need role models. Maybe you don't need them there in America.
