First time coming to know who Sharil Hamdan is,Thanks...shows we do have level-headed Malaysians who knows exactly the political scenario here..he should go in full force into politics...he will have a good following with the educated class and also people who go on merits and accountability and not take gaji buta without feeling guilty about it,especially in the government sector.

Agreed with you to improve sekolah kebangsaan to be attractive, excellent but not to abolish vernacular schools ie to see how they perform and eventually which type would attract more students...let people decide as eventually it would close down by itself with poor performance

Why want to obsolete vernacular school ah 🤔? Can't they coexist? Rainbow is made of 7 different colours, not just 1.

Why majority can't speak and writing national language especially from vernacular school, to be specific chinese community? 🤔 I can write this in malay too in order to test how relevant your vernacular school is. Don't give excuse such as no malay speaker in the house or neighbour or in the company since this is Malaysia , that excuses are unacceptable. I encounter the recent experience last few days, I ask chinese secondary school to give me direction from point A to point B in national language. Not a surprise they not even understand a single basic national language.🤦 Does, bahasa is not being taught properly in vernacular school? I have a lot of friends from Borneo and Malay in peninsular went to SJKC from standard 1-6 and able to speak Mandarin fluently until they left the school and able to switch to national language effortlessly but these thing you can't see in chinese community especially the elder in Penang,Perak and youngster in general able to fluently master national language. How I cannot see that vernacular school help solving this problem?

Have you seen the viral video where those youtuber people ask young chinese about the history of Malaysia but can't answer even 1 right simple question. How is that patriot? That is why , people are questioning, how does vernacular help these communities assimilate with others? Bahasa is out, history is out. I'm talking about "majority".

Shahril is an articulate and eloquent interviewee, which is as well because Dr Abraham needs more practice as an interviewer. How can the good Dr completely ignore more personal parts of Shahril's life, for instance his affinity for music and didn't ask him to expand more on that? It IS called 'Life Confessions', right. It could be due to shoddy editing but Dr Abraham looked slightly bored when Shahril segued away from political talk. And what is he doing quoting Robert Greene and that nonsense of a book 48 laws of power?
