I really think Shah Rukh fell in love with her but being married before they met, he was never able fo pursue her. I think he's a respectful, loving husband to Gauri, but I think he loves Kajol in a way that he doesn't love Gauri. The way he talks about Kajol being the sexist, most beautiful woman alive (inside and out) in this universe, as if his own wife doesn't exist! really makes me feel like he's in love with Kajol but could never be with her in the way he may have wanted to. I think because he also respects Kajol's marriage too, he would never try to get in the way of them. It's sad how fate played out because the way he talks about her, especially how possessive he gets over her (saying "I can only love Kajol" or "I can only call her señorita," "when she asked me to come to the wedding my automatic response was 'no'" etc.) makes me think he would have pursued her romantically if not for the fact that he was already married to Gauri.

I dont really watch Hindi movies but when these 2 beautiful stars are in I am glued to the screen. Love their last movie Dilwale. Heard it didnt do so well in India but it had huge overseas collection. It did very well in Malaysia. It break Star Wars record in the Gulf. It was at 4th place boxoffice in the US. 2nd place in Malaysia and New Zealand. Indians tried to downgrade it by calling it a flop. If it was well received in overseas market at international level obviously it can't be called a flop. Probably Indians just have a different taste from others.

I’ve only recently discovered Kabhie Khushi, my first Bollywood movie and I’ve been very moved by it (even as I don’t particularly like the Rohan/Poo music scenes). I’ve never real been affected by a film like this, How could anyone not fall for Anjali, and her little family circle? Honestly, I’m not sure a great script is even necessary, I think it would be nice to see how they are getting on, some twenty five years later... without any ugly drama, some tragedy perhaps, but no ugly family rifts. I.e when I was a child I was spellbound by Star Wars, it was so unnecessary to separate Han Solo and Leia, to be more in tune with the modern world. That’s why I also very much like Jane Austen; sure, they have their problems but they have unapologetically happy endings. On that note, I suspect, Johar was influenced by Kenneth Branagh’s Much Ado About Nothing, if you haven’t seen it, I recommend it, but it’s not as good as Kabhi Khushi...

True she always wants to please Ajay, all the interviews u can just tell she puts him on a pedestal but he doesn't return the favour. Their relationship seems very one sided. She is busy promoting all his movies to the extent u would think she is even acting in it (Shivaay), yet if he is not producing the movie, he never promotes or even post about her work and hardly ever says nice things about her work, he just gives general comments when forced. Just thinking about all the silly movies she has done coz of him (under his production) and all those good movies she said no 2 coz of him makes me so Irk. With Shahrukh he always goes out of his way to compliment her and show admiration. Sad her own husband cnt do that. She always talks about how handsome Ajay his (might be her poor eye sight, lol) but I have never heard him compliment his wife. So she said u mean the fact that my hubby is in it isn't enough or what...(something like that) and then when she reached over to hold his hand he didn't' even reciprocate! He still kept his hand in a fist! And if u looked at Kajol's face,for a split second,u could see the sadness,and disappointment. I just felt so bad! ;( Have u noticed that whenever asked about Ajay when promoting a movie or something w/ Shahrukh,how his (SRK) face just changes to idk slight anger or resentment.It's clearly obvious that he disapproves of Ajay or that something isn't right in their relationship. Even Kajol's dad didn't want her to get married when she did (supposedly bcuz her career was at an all-time peak, which I don't believe for 1 second). Have u noticed how Kajol never goes for parties in general especially ones hosted by SRK? It's supposedly cuz she like to go to bed early and all, but I honestly think it's cuz of Ajay. I mean Kajol is like the life of a party! Why would she not want to go bcuz of 'bedtime'?! It's just ridiculous... Btw....my question still wasn't answered about me not knowing that Ajay had apparently ruined her relationship with KJo; could u tell/explain how that happened? I mean how did he ruin a (maybe) 20 yrs of friendship?
