Ajay Devgan doesn't like Shahrukh Khan for this reason. I had read it earlier too, on Shahrukh's call, Ajay left the film but Shahrukh just after that joined the film and Ajay felt let down by that.

In fact Salman was giving back to back flops and revived with Hum Aapke Hain Kaun but that was credited to Madhuri. Even after Karan Arjun, Salman gave flops till Judwaa came. Karan Arjun would have worked anyway because the script and direction was damn good.
