OKC is more better and competitive than you think, Presti also Daignault fast tracked the rebuild plus built a great roster around SGA that is very young & will keep on improving thru the years. Thunder's massive amount of assets, war chest of draft capital then cap space like OKC can put one of the best trade packages for a disgruntled superstar or star if they wanted heck they have 1 max slot this upcoming off season that i if they want to go that route and sign a all star to add in this already stacked young roster. Can't count out the Thunder trading up in this coming draft this year as well since they got a lot of picks to be able to trade up if they somehow manage to win the Wembanyama sweepstakes than it's over once Holmgren comes back fully healthy next season too just so they can be paired up in the front court, OKC is a another dynasty in the making plus the future of the NBA you'll see how dominant this team could be with Shai leading them into a championship in the next couple of years.

They’re definitely not a “bad” team! They just still feel like they’re a step behind most playoff teams still. Having someone like SGA really helps though, and I completely agree. Presti has done an amazing job stockpiling assets and trying to get this team on the right track

How you feeling on them now?

I still feel the same tbh. My main team is the Magic too so I know how it feels to root for a young team. Could the Thunder make the playoffs, yeah they could sneak in. It would be a great confidence builder and get the players good experience (and playoffs should be the players goal). But I still say they’re not really built for playoffs, just like most young teams. They haven’t pushed the chips in yet, hopefully that happens soon though and they really build this team out
