The teddy thing seems sweet. My guess is that her friends and family wrote the notes, put them in the teddy and gifted her the teddy before she went to america. She never found the notes, eventually came back to australia and gave away the teddy. That seems like the most likely explanation imo.

It reminds me of when I broke up with a boyfriend and got a box of my things back that I’d left at his place. He’d tucked a bunch of sad little notes and poems into random pockets and such, there was one pinned to my favorite plushy. I kept finding them for quite awhile.

The teddy thing seems like a very spontaneous idea someone had. It sounds odd but, ever since I was very young, i've had the idea to hide papers with random drawings or messages inside stuff in the hope that in 20, 50 years or so, someone happens to open one and be absolutely mind boggled there's a message inside an N64 cartridge or a random plush toy. Imagining their confused face seems hillarious to me even tho the chances of that happening and me seeing it are pretty much zero. People sometimes just do stuff like that for no reason.
@EverydayZer0 Жыл бұрын
i think the notes inside things is normal. my family like to hide little notes for eachother in like suitcases or bags when we go to different places (started as like notes in packed lunch or school bags before big school days, and now has become a bigger thing), even though we’ve never put them inside teddies i think it’s a cute little thing, i know people leave notes in books sometimes too.
@_BubblGum_ Жыл бұрын
i did that once! i was staying in a cabin when i was around seven years old and i decided to leave a note for future visitors. i cant remember much about the note itself, though.

So Manon seems to be a popular (top 50?) name in France and Belgium. But unless we know where OP found the game we can't say how much of a coincidence it is. Manon is apparently a diminutive name for Marie, so it could be a nickname. If OP is from the states it might even be the same person. We don't know how far they went on holiday or if they even left their state. What seems more likely is that the data somehow got transferred to her mii plaza and then finally ended up there due to a glitch of some kind.

I worked at the thrift store for a good chunk of time and whenever we would get SD cards on accident (we were told to deny them if we saw them trying to be donated but we can’t catch everything) we were told to destroy them because the company was concerned there would be illicit or illegal material on them, which probably wasn’t out of the realm of possibility. Once we got a safe donated, we picked the lock on it, and found a camera wrapped in a cloth inside, SD card and all. I think people underestimate how much weird stuff gets donated. We had sex toys, total power exchange contracts, miniature guillotines, mortuary and medical equipment, dolls with knives and ritualistic symbols on and in them, books on how to summon demons, and even urns. The teddy bear doesn’t shock me one bit.

I feel like the teddy with the notes is exactly that: a bunch of people hid notes within the teddy bear with the idea that she would bring it with her to the US, then she would find them once there... but then Rose donated the bear without mentioning it to anyone so then never found them (or someone asked her if she found them, and she realized in horror what she'd done). Hoping that maybe Rose and those notes can get back to her... "What Do You Want From Me" sounds like a typical '80s generic movie pop song. I can almost see this taking place over a montage, lol

19:43 NHK has a huge library of old animations and shorts that they use to fill time in their children's programming. Some of them are a little bit bizarre, but they are all just made to make children smile in the mornings before going to school. It's cool to see them showing these older shorts that probably just sit in their film libraries otherwise. If you look at a written description of clock man it sounds kind of horrific but when you actually see the short you can see it's just a kid's program. Compared to general Japanese TV, which is mostly about people eating ramen, Japanese kids programming is pretty creative and interesting.

Weird images then a jumpscare that looked like a scary version of an old painting. Something about unlocking characters in melee. Maybe related? I think that video made me scared to go back to the computer for like an hr lmao

I see a lot of people speculating that the song known as "Dance for Hours a Day" may just have been by some local band hired to be the entertainment at some dance club or something like that because of it having apparently been a live performance. If this is the case, identifying the song or finding a complete recording of it seems unlikely. However, this is not the only possible explanation for the live audience. This could be a snippet from a musical theater production. If that's the case, there may be a better chance that a full recording (of the song and possibly of the entire musical) may exist.

You never know, the right person is in the right place at the right time and they are like "Holy shit that's the band I was in back in the 90s!!!" Mystery instantly solved. There's a documentary called "A band called Death" that's essentially about exactly that. This totally unknown band that inadvertently invented punk 5 years early and were so ahead of their time nobody would sign them. And somebody stumbled on their album and was looking for them

That jumpscare thing made me remember my own personal story. I've never really tried looking for the video but if anyone remembers something similar let me know lol When I was a kid, I really liked Lazytown, and I basically searched on KZbin everyday to find new videos on it. One day I watched a video that was like "Dance with Sportacus" or something like that and it asked the viewer to get up and dance. I remember it was basically just footage of the characters/Sportacus dancing. Then it asked the viewer to get up close for a surprise. Me, being the naive kid I was, literally put my face up to the screen and waited for the countdown to end. Obviously it was a jumpscare - from what I can remember it was probably footage of Billy the Puppet from the Saw series, but a video glitch just so happened to come up at the same time so it turned him into a crazy, distorted, purple pixely mess. I ended up jumping on our couch from fear and waking up my mum who was sleeping on it at the time lmao

Recently, I lost access to a beautiful fanart that an artist known as Pyohato created of a character named "Blaze" aka "Emily" from a game I made that was previously called "Anti Eye craft". The character has short blue hair, an orange spacesuit, and a white scarf. The creator of the art pretty much disappeared from the internet one day and my old backup drive is no longer accessible. It'd be great if you could track down the fanart. However, someone told me long ago that Pyohato doesn't want their art to be on the internet anymore so idk what's going on.
@HauntakuTV Жыл бұрын
It's a stunning piece of artwork with a striking style which is also the reason why Emily (Blaze) has the white scarf in her current design. The fanart was created back when I was developing a point-and-click version of "Anti Eye Craft". The project ultimately was shelved though but you can find some of my old stuff by searching imgr. However, I never reuploaded Pyohato's fanart because they weren't around to give permission.
@HauntakuTV Жыл бұрын
I would love to revisit the idea and art style of that point-and-click game someday. I am still proud of the sprites I made for it and I have some backed up currently. The current version of "Anti Eye Craft" now goes by the title "Eye Fly For You" on my itchio if anyone is interested in that.
@HauntakuTV Жыл бұрын
However, it is a completely re-envisioned game. Oh! And the fanart that Pyohato made of Emily showed her standing firm with the scarf blowing in the breeze. She held her orange space helmet in her right arm and the look on her face could cut glass. Simply a beautiful work of art that is sadly missing in action.

When I heard the title of "notes found inside teddy bear", I thought it was going to be about the "Schuylkill Notes" - people keep finding insane conspiracy sprawlings inside sealed packages right around the town of Schuylkill in Pennsylvania. That Tomodachi life story reminds me of something that happened to me. I got a gameboy advance when i was in 7th grade collecting retro stuff and I bought Minish Cap and Kirby and the amazing mirror. In freshman year I decided to give it to this girl I had a crush on (dont ask me why i forget the reason), but a year later i was cleaning my room and I found a copy of the minish cap in my stuff but I never got a second copy and there was no copy in the box of when i got that gba. Super creepy but i know it wasnt the same copy because it didnt have my save data. Its been like 5 years later and still no answers or anything

Opposite happened to me. When I was a kid, I brought my DS with me to visit a friend. She didn't own a DS, and I only brought it to pass the time traveling to and from her house. I get home, and the game (super mario 64 ds) was gone. I had no reason to lose it since it was in my DS, and my DS was in its case. I was so sad when I lost it, and to this day I have no idea where that game went.

a personal case of lost media of mine is a series of pikmin plush videos i watched when i was younger (it may have just been one video?). i found it in around 2014-2015 but given the video quality (if i'm remembering correctly) i think it was made between 2007 and 2012. the only vivid memory i have is that the title contained an ampersand (&) symbol, which i know because this was my first time seeing it as a kid and i had to ask my mom what it meant. it's such a niche topic that i don't think anyone will ever have any leads, but it's my personal lost media holy grail edit: some more details; -very poor camera (and likely audio) quality -i believe most of the series was recorded in a house -said house had a yellow-orange tint as far as i can recall, unclear on if it was due to the camera quality or the house's lights -one of the characters was a white pikmin -i believe it was made by a little kid -the title was something close to "red pikmin & friends" (potentially could have been something like "red pikmin & white pikmin"?" -i do not remember olimar being a character. it was just the pikmin

Thank you ShamiValley, thanks for talking about “Dance Floor Was His Name” or “Dance For Hours A Day”. I was hoping for someone to make a video about it, it’s one of my favourite sample-only lostwaves (or Lostwaves with short samples like Everyone Knows That with its 17 second sample) Somewhere In The Night or Snip Through The Brush or even Try To Smile Again should get more publicity though. Those are cool lostwaves too.

There was a jumpscare video that scared me so bad as a kid it made me steer clear of jumpscares afterwards. And I can remember it so vividly, it may still even be on KZbin but I gotta admit I’ve never tried looking for it. I’m pretty positive it was listed under KZbin Poops, and it was of a clip from an episode of SpongeBob. All the video was, was the clip which had Patrick on a seahorse (or in a costume with a fake seahorse under him like he’s riding it) and the video said “Wait! Did you catch that? Look at Patrick’s horse thingy” and it zoomed up a couple times then showed a scary face with a scream. Not sure if anyone else remembers this video but that was my worst jumpscare experience at like 8-9 years old

Ugh the last one is to frustrating! I’ve been on the internet since 2009, and I remember a video I found sometime between 2010-2013 called “Luigi goes to boarding school” it was clearly made by a child or teenager, as it utilizes several figures. Notable figures/plushies used: Luigi plush, Gumby figure, Mr. Pricklepants plush, some sort of popular clown figure from a children’s show, and I think the driving instructor was a prairie dog…also the build a bear red car plush I think? The channel name had “chowder” in it, and it had several jokes I still remember. They run over Gumby, Luigi sings an autotuned song saying “cambels chicken noodle soup, possibilities!” And another one saying “oohhh weee I’m a vegetarian ooohh yeaaa ohhh yaaa” and several jokes where he crashes the car. It was the funniest thing to my younger self and I still reference it with my siblings to this day, but we’ve never been able to find it. Finding this would finally satisfy my nearly decade long search.

regarding the "they're in my eyes" thing - the guy is most definitely not wearing coloured contacts, since the pigment is printed onto the surface of the lens and here you can see through the iris - it has depth, this does not happen with coloured lenses. also doubt he's wearing regular contacts for eyesight - when wearing those, despite them being transparent you would still see a thin blue rim around the iris. i think even with the video quality being shitty we would still be able to notice it from this close up.

The dance for hours may have been a local band in the original recorder's (whomever it was) region. It could have been a bar performance, a music store performance, or fair / battle of the bands event. Maybe the woman singing and her bandmates broke up shortly after due to life issues or creative differences. And to support one of my local metal/Punk bands.. *SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TURBONER*

Only Jesus Christ blood can cleanse us of are sins come to Jesus Christ today Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Come to Jesus Christ today Jesus Christ is only way to heaven Repent and follow him today seek his heart Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness he can fill the void. The Holy Spirit can lead you guide and confort you through it all Heaven and hell is real cone to the loving savior today Today is the day of salvation tomorrow might be to late come to the loving savior today John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

As a fellow Aussie, do you remember an MMO/club penguin clone called the Koala Klub (I forgot if it was club or klub) that was advertised on the today show I think in 2008 or 2009? (possibly sunrise as well, but my family watched the today show in the morning) I vaguely remember it, the woman who created it didn't think club penguin was good or safe or something. She had some grievances with club penguin but koala klub was far more predatory with its monetisation. You couldn't wear clothes without it and most games were unavailable without it. I already had club penguin membership so I didn't ask my parents for koala klub memership too.
