My first knowledge of him was when he traveled for the great debate in London UK. (Was it in Albert Hall)? Ever since then I was following his every debate or watching VCRs in the 'United Arab Emirates' Indeed he was a pioneer who influenced enthusiastic Muslims to follow in his footstep. Alhamdulillah for Dawah in 'Speaker's Corner' the Muslims there are continuing and carrying out where the Sheikh completed his mission.

Our Amazing Inexhaustible Sheikh Ahmed Deedat. My favourite lecture, the one that really moved me was "Muhammad (PBUH) The Greatest". Until then, for me, the Greatest was Pele. As we say in Urdu, "Chiragh taley Andhera". I realised how blind I had been. Our very own beloved Rasool Allah (saw) was/is the Greatest and I had never thought so. Shame on me! May Allah grant our beloved Sheikh Ahmed Deedat and his son Yousuf Deedat Shaheed the highest level in Jannah. Thanks Adnan; remembering our Sheikh brought tears to my eyes.
