(Dr Yusuf Deedat passed away at St Anne’s hospital at 14:40 pm this afternoon, Friday 17th January. Yusuf Deedat was fatally wounded on Wednesday when he was shot by an unknown gunman in Verulam. He was airlifted to hospital where his condition was critical. His family and friends were at his bedside when he passed away peacefully. The family conveys their heartfelt gratitude for the support they received from family, friends and the community. May his soul rest in peace).
Sheikh Deedat was a charismatic, self-taught Muslim scholar from South Africa, most famous for engaging Christian evangelists in public debate. In 1986, he debated Jimmy Swaggart and even challenged the late Pope John Paul II. His son, Yusuf Deedat, calls him a "lion of the stage".
But while Sheikh Deedat was most famous for his sharp and impassioned debating style, he was also a prolific writer.
He published more than 20 books and wrote free literature and pamphlets, of which millions of copies were distributed across the globe.
Many of his publications were translated into other languages, and in 1986 Saudi Arabia awarded Deedat the King Faisal Award for his services to Islam.

If Deedat was alive he would have been decimated by Christian apologists Christian Prince, Sam Shouman, David Wood etc. Shaitan took Deedat away to save his reputation and from being found out has a liar. I lived in Durban were Deedat was operating his modus operandi propaganda organisation with hidden and deceptive intentions against Christianity and other religions. He was fraud. Sheik Ahmed Deedat debated Anish Shorish a Christian Apologist. Three weeks after his Australian debate Ameed Deedat became (Mute) through illness due to being punished for making lies in debates against the Holy Bible, God of Israel and Lord Jesus Christ? Deedat Prayed to God in the Debate to “Mute” the liar. Deedat made the biggest mistake to challenge the true living God by asking our gracious God to ” Mute” the one lying in the Debate. Three weeks after his Debate in Australia when he returned to South Africa Ahmed Deedat was rushed to hospital and His wish was granted, “ He was MUTED” for lying against the True Living God of Israel and the messiah Jesus Christ in his debates. For 9.5 years he was paralysed in bed from neck to toes and could not talk or swallow anything down his throat. He could not in all his days on earth speak against Christianity and other Non Muslim believing sects. Muslims don’t like to talk about this topic because God had shown the Nations who was the Liar and muted him for good. If you watch his Australian ( last debate)debate,you will notice how they don’t give a Christian to speak freely by cutting the microphone and insulting the them. Muslims are scared to be confronted when it come to questioning the Koran or their Faith. Deedat paid the price for lies and deception and is in Hell enjoying the rewards of 90 virgins. His explanation to Easter was so laughable and had he tried to make sense of it 🤣🤣mixing in his own storyline. Zaikir Naik and Shabir Alli are next to follow the wrath of God for spreading lies to the people.

In 1985, Ahmed Deedat, had a debate with Dr. Shorrosh. Deedat prayed and asked God to MUTE whoever is mistaken and lying. God answered Deedat’s prayer, on May 3, 1996. 
Four weeks, after he viscously attacked the crucification and resurrection, of Yeshua Hamashiach, with his provocative lecture in Australia, Ahmed Deedat, had a stroke, which left him paralyzed, from the neck down. Because of a cerebral vascular incident, effecting the brain stem. He could no longer function.
