Shailene Woodley on "Adrift," the responsibility of portraying a real person

Shailene Woodley's new movie, "Adrift," is based on the true story of Tami Oldham Ashcraft, who endured Hurricane Raymond in the Pacific Ocean in 1983. Woodley, who portrays Tami and is also a producer of the film, joins “CBS This Morning” to discuss what it was like to shoot the majority of the film in the open sea and the role love played in Ashcraft's survival.

I saw the movie and First time I would hear about Tami and this horrible ordeal. Got to say: as man, the resilience of this woman really inspired me to be strong and there is always hope if we really think about hope no matter how bad the situation is. Also, knowledge of what you are doing is so important. I mean if she had no deep knowledge of the instruments in sailing or sailing as a whole, she wouldn't have survived. Hat's off to all of you and thank you so much - thank you.
