Shaine Casas is an American Olympian!!

Last night, Shaine Casas touched second in the Men's 200 IM, punching his ticket to the Paris Olympics. The only person to beat him was his teammate, Carson Foster. Both went 1:55.

What an epic swim to prove what we already knew: Shaine Casas is a friggin' BEAST! So well-deserved! For me, this was my favorite swim in the entire meet. Re: predictions yesterday They were based on form. And I agreed with Brett: Shaine had yet to show that Olympian je ne se quoi. That opening 50 though? Holy cow did he show he had shown up!
