This gig was filmed at the Playhouse Theatre in Epsom on the 28th May 2003 and features a number of Shakatak's best loved songs including 'Easier Said Than Done', 'Day By Day', 'City Rhythm', 'Mr Manic And Sister Cool', 'Night Birds' and many more. I was in the audience that night, flew over from Germany to see the band an stage for the first time in my life. And I was (and still am) a fan since their first album Drivin' Hard back in early '82... After the show we had a chat, drinking beer and took some photos. A very professional band but finally quite pleasant and normal people. I could hardly believe my luck and will never forget that.

So hipswaying chill, cool, sexy, classy, funky, jazzy --- and interesting girl power lyrics lol!* Had the pleasure of watching them live at Pizza Express Soho London, and also bumping into and chatting up Limahl (Kajagoogoo, very nice humble and down to earth lad!) who was watching in the back by the bar. Then a group photo with him, Bill Sharpe and the band after the show! Unforgettable!

I know Bill Sharpe has done the (very) occasional lead vocal. I recall only one, in fact - "Remix, Remake, Remodel" from his mid 1980's album "Famous People". His voice here to a crowd here is very professional. Not like one might anticipate.
