I loved the three part harmonies, the humor, bold ladies playing bawdy tunes, what could be better than that?

Here it is a year later, March 2020, and we're in quarantine being entertained by these fantastic performances while waiting out Covid-19. All the Ladies are in fine form as always. Thanks for this video to help keep sanity.

I love to hear a clarinet being played so well... Paquito De Rivera, Eddie Daniels, Artie Shaw, Pete Fountain, Benny Goodman, ~ Chloe Feoranzo takes a back seat to none of them! She is an amazing treasure, being so inventive, versatile, and soulful on the instrument. Powerful vocals too. Great to see her in a line up of such talented band mates.

I love the music which this group of excellent musicians plays. Keep playing the wonderful old jazz tunes and educating us about musicians and composers like Ida Cox.

I love the way these girls meld together without an obvious 'leader'. Marla, Chloe & Molly all take leadership duties when required with the vocal harmonising a particular talent of the group.

Seems like all the voices are young and energized and spirited. To me that's what it's all about. And the instruments'voices take no back seat.

They are so good , individually, and as a band ! The rythm section works well, and they complement each other very well ( I had the opprotunity to hear Molly plays in the Jazz Vipers, with only a bass player and she tended to compensate the lack of drummer by being a bit heavy, here she shows the extent of her considerable talent). My favorite soloist is Chloe, but the others are amongst the best in the trade. This trombone player is outstanding,

"Some like it hot" ?

@@CANDCJ Yes, he refers to the title of the comedy film "Some Like It Hot" with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, etc. When that movie came into the Soviet Union it got the title "В джазе только девушки". It could be translated back in the English language like "There are only girls in jazz".
