Depending on what country you're in, you all literally have the locations we try to mimic at these faires. There has to be some way you can start something locally. You would probably get many Americans to come spend money at yours.

Would be cool if Renaissance fairs were actually still based on the Renaissance and not fantasy. It's supposed to be a homage to European culture and the achievements of the time period, not a jerk session for DnD players.
