The glaze is amazing. If you want to recreate it at home, you can use 1 Tbsp Gochujang, 2 tsp of Honey, 2 cloves minced Garlic, 1 Tbsp of butter, and 1 Tbsp of Rice Wine Vinegar. Melt the butter in the pan and saute the garlic until golden, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix em up until it homogenizes

Whoa, I hadn't even considered that one. That might be pretty fun. See Reviewbrah in a 1700s or early 1800s dress suit. It'd give him an excuse to buy a new unique suit. Im just trying to think of the hook for them for a show, I get food related, but Town sends doses more hearty home cooking type foods, but they did do a series on making 18 century versions of modern "fastfood" favorites.

One of my best deployments was in Panmunjom Korea up on the DMZ. Amazing culture, friendly people (except for the college kids who seemed to hate us) and the FOOD! Properly made kimchi is awesome, and gochujang is a staple of my cooking even 25 years later. Kalbi marinaded anything is delicious. I was lucky enough to live just down the street from an H Mart (oriental grocery store that stocks EVERYTHING Asian) in Denver, and there were several Ajumma there that made their own kimchi and sold it, made properly and utterly amazing stuff. Pity the sandwich wasn't amazing, but it seems more and more fast food is "meh" to poor these days. As always Reviewbrah, a well thought out and eloquent review, keep em coming, one of these days you'll be blown away and I'll be willing to try fast food again.

Home isn’t really that much cheaper unless you eat low quality stuff.

It’s cheaper than 11 bucks yeah but if I buy stuff for burgers for my family I spend $30 whereas if I just bought us all a burger from in n out it would have literally been half that.

@@willissudweeks1050 not really. I can buy the ingredients to make burgers for a family and it cost less than a place like that. And you'll have leftover ingredients to make some more another day. But I do get what you're saying

@@MrScubajsb How though? The beef is $7 a pound, the buns are like $6 the cheese is $5 the lettuce, tomato, onion etc is $3. And since I usually have to buy at least one condiment that’s like $5 unless it’s mustard.

Most reviews on this say this is bad - saying it's sweet then salty then sweet is what they get out of eating the sandwich... people seem to prefer the Korean BBQ Burger instead.

For $11 you should get better than "okay" Thanks for such honest revues.

Even though Reviewbrah is looking down at his notes throughout this video he has convinced me that some Korean food would be a good idea. So I searched through the fridge and cupboards looking for something suitable. All I could find was a jar of peanut butter (which is used in some stir-fries and is the closest thing I have to Asian lineage), so I am having toasted peanut butter sandwiches for lunch with gobs of melted butter on the nice warm toast to add to the general oiliness of the sandwich. 🥪😋👍
