The glaze is amazing. If you want to recreate it at home, you can use 1 Tbsp Gochujang, 2 tsp of Honey, 2 cloves minced Garlic, 1 Tbsp of butter, and 1 Tbsp of Rice Wine Vinegar. Melt the butter in the pan and saute the garlic until golden, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix em up until it homogenizes

One of my best deployments was in Panmunjom Korea up on the DMZ. Amazing culture, friendly people (except for the college kids who seemed to hate us) and the FOOD! Properly made kimchi is awesome, and gochujang is a staple of my cooking even 25 years later. Kalbi marinaded anything is delicious. I was lucky enough to live just down the street from an H Mart (oriental grocery store that stocks EVERYTHING Asian) in Denver, and there were several Ajumma there that made their own kimchi and sold it, made properly and utterly amazing stuff. Pity the sandwich wasn't amazing, but it seems more and more fast food is "meh" to poor these days. As always Reviewbrah, a well thought out and eloquent review, keep em coming, one of these days you'll be blown away and I'll be willing to try fast food again.
