The meaning of provide is in a financial sense and in that sense meaning when they have children they can be at home and able to raise their children without having to go straight back to work after 9months to a year. In the uk, where I live women have such a short maternity leave they then have to pay for other people to look after their children instead of being able to take those 4 years off work to raise their child before they’re of school age and then when they are at school they have to work longer than school hours so they can’t collect their children from school or even have them at home for breakfast. This is where a providing man can facilitate that for a woman with children. As for the role protecter, this is in the sense that they will want to take care of them and their future children. Pick them up from where they’ve been, ensure they are safe at all times, have strong communication about where they’re going and with who. Not in the way everyone likes to assume is control and abuse. There is a clear difference between the two. One thing this man said that he was correct about was that women like to call these traits and actions abuse or abusive. When a man is controlling and abusive he will not want you to go anywhere with anyone. He wil make sure you can’t by isolating you, taking away your phone or forms of communication. If a man is asking where you’re going and who with from the perspective of a protector it is like when your parents ask these questions. If a man is trying to stop you from going places or being with people this is controlling and abusive behaviour. We need better education on abusive relationships and abusive tactics to ensure women and men can spot these and not mistake them for proper care for someone they love. If your mum asked you where you’re going and who with would you say she is controlling and abusive? No. She cares and wants to know the full story of your where about and who with so she can protect you if she needs to. Don’t be blinded, be aware.

bro thinks being muslim is different to being ethnically cultural does he realise that culture without religion would still be the way it is if u were to take away islam in the Middle East ppl would still be conservative and modest islam is just a belief of a certain god its a religion it doesnt make culture any better or conservative and he didnt grow up muslim his parents r not muslims he converted he was around ppl in his neighbourhood and friends in school that were most likely muslim what is he on about
